"This is a very good out of the box sniper. It shoots hard, is fairly accurate, and is overall a good sniper. I would recommend and few upgrades if you want a better sniper. First I would recommend a action army hop up unit, inner barrel. Also a maple leaf bucking will give you a lot more range and more hop.
READ THIS NEXT PART IF YOUR UPGRADING THE PISTON OR TRIGGER UNIT:
So if you are planning on upgrading the trigger unit or spring guide, or spring you will have to buy the WHOLE shibang. The reason for this is because the stock spring and spring guide are 9mm wide. Any aftermarket part you get will be for a 7mm spring and guide. This means that if you try to put in a new spring you will need a new spring guide, and trigger unit to. That goes for any of those parts.
Overall a very good gun and I would highly recommend getting it.

"Overall it's a good rifle. Had a bad experience with it on my first outing. The bolt would not lock the spring back every time, magazine jammed, hard to pull back the bolt, and shot to BB's at a time sometimes. But after a good cleaning, Lube, and adjustments to the Bolt and scope rail screws. I took it out again and this time I was impressed. Great fps and accuracy. With a small adjustment to the bolt lever screw solved the stiff bolt lever.

"Out of the box this is a great sniper. While it allows for much upgrading in the future it is already fantastic out of the box. I went to sight it in at about 150 ft and found after mounting the scope it did not require much adjustment. Overall a great out of the box sniper with many upgrade options in the future.

"One of the best bolt actions I've used in a long time. Its right under the 500 fps with .25s so be warned. Also is very intimidating on the receiving end. Plus you don't have issues with people calling their hits.

"I have had this gun for a total of about one week and have played many battles with it so far. As I mentioned I have used it in many battles and killed both brothers one has an echo 1 mp5 and the other has a king arms m4. Also a friend with a kwa g36. The stock has a really nice rubber fell to it and is very sturdy. One of my favorite design features is that it has an adjustable trigger pull. Nothing rattles when shook.
Pros:
Very accurate
nice feel
shoots hard
very quiet
highly upgradable
cons:
hop up needs constant adjustment
I would recommend this gun to anyone new to airsoft as well as experienced players

"The Best Budget Spring sniper rifle availible at this time. As it comes out of the box this is a pretty good sniper rifle. Pretty accurate at 180 feet, but with some mods you can make this gun perform like an upgraded TM. You can also take apart the hop up chamber and sand the walls down to be more smooth and then shim the adjustor arm to be perfectly centered. Great rifle for a great price and it is also fully compatible with Tokyo Marui VSR parts. 5 out of 5

"I upgraded my JG Bar 10 with custom airbrake mod, cylinder head mod, and custom barrel spacers. It has a Illuminated reticle sniper scope on it and is very accurate, very powerful, and very cool. i also have a reflex sight on it for medium range battles. it looks and performs great. Over time my bolt was sticky to pull but nothing a little lube can't fix. yet again another great gun by JG. 5/5.

"This is my 1st sniper rifle and I found it to be a good experience. The 1st time out I was disappointed with it. It jammed multiple times, bolt wouldn't cock back half the times, 2 bbs shot out sometimes, and rail screw scratched the top of the bolt. After breaking it down to clean, lube, and adjust I have found it to be a great rifle. I get 400-410 fps using .40 bbs and accurate up to around 200 ft.
Pros:
High fps
Lightweight
Easy upgrades
Cons:
Scope rail screws too long and scratch top of bolt.
Spring and bolt needs long break in time
Not for beginners
Overall a great gun for the price!

"This is the perfect Airsoft sniper, but not something for beginners as it is a lot to take in.
First off, lemme say this gun is super duper accurate stock with an added DangerWerx hopup arm (type B) and .32g Elite Force bbs. This with just that one upgrade goes 0ft-230ft easily. It's basically pin point. But, when I first got this gun, lets just say I had some of the most stress and regret in my entire life. So much problems occurred, but since all of them were fixed by handy-dandy me, it works very, very well now.
Pros:
Sexy design
Pinpoint accurate (0ft-230ft with .32g bbs and a DangerWerx hopup arm)
Silky Smooth (Don't paint it!)
Came with a speedloader, a cleaning rod, a lens wipe which also can be used for cleaning, and the gun and mag itself.
I thought I would have to put in tons of upgrades, but I think JG upped their game as this version has 500 FPS, a nice metal piston which I've seen is plastic from other reviewers with a half cut off air nozzle which should of been DIY and a dampener, two holes on the cylinder head for it to be easier to take out along with an unexpected dampener, the barrel actually has spacers which should of been DIY, the bucking is superb; almost replicates the King Arms bucking, some new hopup modifications which is also great now, and it is actually good stock now which definitely surprised me, especially for the price.
Clear scope
Barrel is perfectly sized
Scope is completely zero-able (though the gun comes zeroed perfectly anyways)
Lightweight; lighter than my 5 pound M4 but not so where it feels cheap
Came with tools
Though the bolt is hard at first, you get used to it
Feels great in my hand
Comes with front sight and rear sight if you don't use a scope
Cons:
The metal sometimes can be poked through on the rail due to the screws just keeping on going, this can lead to wobble (like what it did on mine; fixed by tying string around it)
For a beginner very hard to upgrade
The mag can be a little bit tricky to get in, but it isn't too bad
Dare I say it, I think this thing can rival the SSG24.
Good for people who have worked on an Airsoft guns before and have the proper tools and skills

"It's a great gun very accurate and durable
The only problem is the spring, after only 500 shots the spring bent and needed to be replaced.

"Good first time rifle, but...
just got into airsoft and i wanted to become a sniper, I did some looking and then decided to go with the VSR-10 model because it was relatively cheap and it looked nice in my opinion. Once I got the rifle it came with: the rifle, a rail with 2 screws, allen wrenches, a speedloader, and a small packet of 0.2g bb's. Overall the packaging was kinda worrying because there was no branded box of any sort it just came in the shipping box and styrofoam. It was also completely assembled which worried me because that could cause issues during shipping because it is such a long gun. Other than that the gun was in tip top shape for me.
The Gun fires well but I do recommend to go and zero out your sight/scope with the gun before playing with it. I have yet to crono-test the gun so no idea what the fps is right out of the box. I recommend you lubricate the gun because the bolt was pretty darn hard to pull back. With use i am hoping the bolt with become easier to pull and push. I cant really tell you how well the hop up works because i am a new player and i dont have experience with comparing hop so no comment on it now. Lastly i got 3 extra mags and the mag that came with it but all 4 are extremely hard to pull out, I almost need a key or allen wrench to pull out the mag. I did some poking around and discovered that the feeder is to small so you will need to either replace it or sand down you mags.
Good first time gun but if you have the money I highly recommend getting the Tokyo Marui because it is just much much higher quality and it will most likely hold out longer.
*leaving the review, going into an a problem i had and fixed. twice*
After playing 3 days with it I ran into some issues... after day one (or I should say night one) the gun shot pretty well no major problems. (I also lubricated it and had already adjusted it with a friend of mine before the game, so that helped) day two at the end of the day something went wrong, i was able to pull back the bolt and squeeze the trigger, but the spring wouldnt release thus the gun wouldnt fire. the place i was at was going to charge 50+ dollors to take it apart and fix it. so I walked away with the intentions of fixing it myself and i played with my 1911 tactical elite force pistol (amazing gun by the way) for the rest of the hour that i had left.
I went home took off the barrel from the stock started to remove the trigger from the barrel then i bumped the trigger and it just fired a blank. Completely surprised by this i then put the trigger and barrel back into the stock and it works flawlessly after that. Day three and guess what the same problem happened i went to go take it apart the second i go to the trigger, it fires then works flawlessly after that.
Still have no idea what happened and how i keep fixing it but after 22 hours of (basically) continues play it jams twice and i have no idea how. gonna put some spare allen keys and tools so that i can fix it while i am at the field. so be warned that this could happen to you, but easy fix.
I also got a sling for the gun but the sling mount hole stipped down in the stock. super glued in the stock mount so now it works but kinda bummed that it stipped on day 2.
5/10, good gun but i have no idea what challenges it might hold later in the future.
Hope to see you all on the field. :)

"I purchased this gun about 9 months ago. I purchased 2 extra mags, the gun package itself, and a scope. But I do not recommend this gun.
Good Side
I have played with this gun for about 15 hours now. The gun has some punch, and is accurate enough that I can hit someone at 80 yards if the weather is nice.
Bad side
Off brand/extra mags are only available from other retailers, and they have issues feeding/jamming. I needed to modify these mags, but they still aren't perfect.
The magazine that came with the gun didn't have any issues, but then the spring in the magazine got pinched. I contacted Evike support to resolve this magazine issue, but support said that the retailer doesn't provide any magazines outside the magazine that comes with the gun.
Evike Support was very helpful, but failed to solve the issue, all of the replacement mags from Evike had the same issues with double feeding/jamming as the magazines that I had already purchased. I disassembled the gun and used YouTube, but that only partially resolved the issue.
Not sure if the magazine issues are just something that went wrong for me. But I was really disappointed in the gun that had so many great reviews across the airsoft field.
But after disassembling the gun to try to fix it myself I couldn't return it, so now I'm stuck with a gun that, while it shoots accurately, jams about once or twice every single mag (30 shots).
Summary, Out 200$ for an unreliable gun, and I am genuinely disappointed..
I truly hope this was an issue that only occurred for me, but it is sincerely annoying that I am out 200$ for an unreliable gun.
The only reason this review isn't getting a 1/5 is because of how helpful Evike Support is.
