"My favorite mosfet by far. This package includes the mosfet(plug and play), the single and double wires you can solder to the contacts if you choose(double wires, 1 wire to each contact, and the positive and ground wire from the motor go directly to the battery connector deans/tamiya), as well as a male and female deans connector with heat shrink. The double wire method will give optimal protection of your trigger contacts so you can safely run lipo batteries and have a few more settings you can choose on the mosfet such as different firing modes. You can use lipo batteries with the plug and play method, and slow down the rate of fire to help prevent overspin and use active braking. It will not protect the trigger contacts, but it will eliminate overspin and give you some of the fun features that this mosfet is capable of. These are just few of the many features. This package DOES NOT come with the programming card, so for the extra $20 get the package with the card. I purchased this as an extra warfet mosfet to use with some of my aegs, since the original 1 I purchased I hardwired to my trigger contacts of my xm8 custom build(double wire method). If you use the single wire method, you remove the top trigger contact positive wire and solder it to the bottom contact with the other positive wire that comes from the motor. the other end of the single and double wire has the connector pigtail connector that goes into the mosfet right next to the deans connector into its own little female connector, you can see it in the picture.
I have had a GATE ASTER setup which is great and allows you to use your computer to update the firmware as well as your cell phone to add firewalls to run a safe setup on your build, but in my opinion, the WARFET is a bit less in cost, and has a good amount of the same features as the ASTER/TITAN, and you can use the programming card which is a bit more simple. All GATE products are fantastic and meet everyones budget from more inexpesive and more simple mosfets, all the way up to expensive/programable mosfets. Absolutely recommend!
