"Great spring pistol. Full size 1911. Working safety switch , beaver tail safety is a prop. Open ejection port. Slide lock doesn't work. Can disassemble the gun by pulling the pin. The hammer works and has a secondary position for safety.

"I like the weight and the look of it.
I'm using it for target plinking and getting familiar with the 1911.
The sights are nice and it's easy to get a quick sight picture.
I found that mine shoots consistently to the left. I drifted the front sight over and it has made it quite a bit better.
The safety is very hard to turn on with just the thumb. Maybe it will break-in over time.
Note that the slide lock does not move. Not that you'd really need to lock it but it would be nice for training, etc.
You can cock the hammer even if the spring is not pulled back. The safety works and the trigger will release the hammer with a very light touch.
The grip safety is spring loaded and does move, but it has no actual function.

"It's about what you could expect from a 20$ spring airsoft gun. I like the gun as a replica and the design is pretty cool.

"PROS
Good dimensions
Decent weight
Ambidextrous thumb safety
Easy to rack
Can use mags from other 1911 spring guns

CONS
Shoots 1" high at 6', 2" high at 12'...
Roughly 10lbs trigger pull (twice as hard as the real thing)
Grip safety does nothing
Grip is very smooth so there isn't enough tack for a sure grip

CONCLUSION: It'll work for quick draw and very close quarters but don't expect to use it for fundamentals training or accuracy.

"Long story short, looks and feels great, performs terribly, even for a springer. Metal slide, but practically everything else is plastic. The bbs practically fall out of the barrel, not skirmishable at all whatsoever, spend the dollar more on the Kahr springer. It performed far better and that thing is totally plastic, even got mud on it and it still worked. Couldn't even attempt to use this one on the field, at least for the model I personally owned, it guarunteed to fail to fire the first round.
