"I'm an older player with a military/infantry background and I've been doing the airsoft/milsim thing for about 12 years, so I'm particular when it comes to the quality and realism of the airsoft copies of real-steel counterparts that I use on the field. With that as a reference point, I have to say that I'm really pleased with this LCT STK-74. I was convinced the E&L's were the final word on AK's for both robust realism and performance, but this LCT takes the cake. Where the E&L's are very convincing, all steel guns, with great externals overall, the LCT is just a bit more refined and shows a little more precision and attention to detail. The assembly is as spot on to the real-steel as an airsoft gun can be, the materials and finishes are beautiful, and the internals are very high quality out of the box. I still intend to re-build the internals as usual, but I won't need to replace nearly as many parts. The STK stock is a good looking alternative to the usual AK set up, and built very solidly with good slide and hinge mechanisms, and a quality rubber coating on the slide bars and butt. The steel receiver buffs down nicely for that crucial worn-in look, and the polymer parts are thick, well formed, with a slightly matte finish. Not plasticky. There's also just the right amount of rail space on the lower front handguard for a grip or light without adding too much weight with tactical metal rails. The gun comes with a steel flash hider included in the box, and the required orange tip is epoxied on but is easily removed with channel locks. Out of the box the gun sounds great and cycles very smoothly with an 11.1v lipo, which fits snugly under the dust cover. Typical of AK's, make sure to get the slimmest battery you can find. I always re-build, but I'm confident a player could field this without any problems with the stock internals. If you're considering an LCT and hesitant due to the higher price, you'll be happy you spent a little more when you open the box, and the STK-74 is a perfect AK for that day-fighter long-gun niche.

"After seeing that there is a lack of reviews in English, I decided to write one.

I bought this rifle along with a few extra magazines (MAG Bakelite midcaps) and looked forward to its arrival. Once I got it, I was surprised with the quality. Out of the box, You get a Black Metal AK74 style flash hider and 28mm adapter, the rifle, a catalog, and a Plum midcap magazine that fits perfectly. The gun itself if built well, with the only polymer parts being the hand guard, the flash hider that comes on the gun, and the grip. The flash hider on the gun is a plastic M4 style flash hider, that is secured with glue and a small hex screw. The dust cover is one of my gripes though, because it is harder to put on than others. The magwell does not have a spacer, which i will be purchasing later on, because without it, reloading is a little more difficult. It fits an Valken 8.4v NiMh stick type, but I don't know about a LiPo or 9.6v because I don't have one. The fire rate is good for me, but it isn't a 20 rps gun. The stock is the highlight of the gun, with it being extremely uncommon on the field. It is spring assisted when adjusting it, and the stock is stiff when folding it due to the locking mechanism being in one place. I am satisfied with this purchase.

Pros:
Sturdy Build
Includes a metal flash hider and adapter
Decent mag
Heavier
Unique stock
Compatible with MAG
Steel

Cons:
M4 Birdcage
Deep magwell
Tight dust cover.

Overall, a 9/10. I want to buy another just so I can give one to one of my Friends.

"Got it in 2019.

This thing is a brick. Absolutely no movement at all in any part on the gun except for the polymer grip which has the smallest of wobbles. You can probably smash it against a wall and it'll only suffer a few scratches. Besides the handguard, rubber stock plate and grip, everything else is metal. This thing is heavy.

I run a 7.4v LiPo from HobbyKing and it may lock up occasionally if fired too fast on semi. Out of the box it shoots very hot in the 430+ fps range which I need to downgrade. Otherwise, it's as reliable as you're gonna get.

The gun includes a black magazine, standard vertical grip, and metal flash hider to replace the orange tip (very easy to take off). The included magazine and MAG AK midcaps don't feed that well. I replaced them with the Blue Box ones which are absolutely perfect. I run a red dot which is attached using an NcStar side rail mount.

"Over all good gun. It feels nice in the hands. I will say that the rail sections are polymer, I assumed they would be metal screwed onto the gun. It runs just like my other LCTs out of the box perfectly.

My only concern was when I got to my range to test fire it I always do a quick dry fire and it had a bb in it.....I don't know if it was someone who was testing it forgot to clear it, no one was hurt everyone was wearing eye protection, but still a concern that came up
