Phantom Gear Auto-Adjusting Red Dot Panorama Sight

10 Customer Reviews

"The red dot adjustments on the laser takes a micro flat head screw driver. Not L key. Other than that, fantastic quality and very solid feel! I got this mounted to an Amoeba CCR for reference :3

"Very cool-looking and functional product... but I received a defective product that could not be adjusted on the y axis. Despite this, I used the dot for a few games and it tanked multiple shots to the lense. The dot is clear and you can basically leave it on because of how well the auto-brightness works. Would recommend but I received a flawed product.

"Really good sight that adjusts to bright and dark areas would highly recommend as the sight can be very bright and is pretty cheap too!

"For the money you pay, it's not bad and I would suggest this to any player that's looking for a cheap, easy to use red-dot sight. PROS include Installs easy on any 20mm rail, Comes with a battery already installed, Easy to turn on, off and zero for your weapon. The only negative thing I have to say about it is the dot's brightness. Even on a full lithium battery it's not that bright, but again for the price I can't complain.

"This is a good looking low profile red dot sight. The lowest brightness setting is a bit bright for indoor use, it is more of a splotch than a sharp dot, but still completely usable unless you are going for super accurate med-long distance sniper work.

Outdoors the sight is great. It is highly visible even on the lowest setting. Mounted on an AK style rifle looks SICK, very tactical. It's a bit longer than a MRO or MRS (9 slots on a picatinny rail) but still has a "low profile" look.

The package comes with no directions. You push the button on the left side to turn the sight on, to turn it off you need to hold the button down for more than 3 seconds.

I am impressed with the battery life. I accidentally left the sight on for two days and it still works fine.

Great for price and works well.

"this red dot sight is pretty good for 35 bucks. i put it on my kwa mp7 with a rail riser and its super accurate. the dot is a little dim in the bright day but good enough. it is a good looking sight in my opinion but it could use a higer brightness. also to turn it off press and hold the little sun button on the side until it goes out.

"[If your red dot doesn't seem to work, make sure to remove the protective film on the laser diode emitter in the small hole behind the lens. Shoutout to Devin C for pointing this out]
It's an okay red dot. The auto-adjusting brightness works well (if the red dot is on and is pointed near a light source, the dot will get brighter), but it's a bit dark by itself. Wouldn't recommend for use in dark areas.

"I want to write an actual review but it won't work swopped batteries still nothing. Pretty sure it's one of those DOA.

"The sight initially appeared to be inoperable, but after close examination, it seems there was a layer of fabric or plastic mesh over the red laser diode emitter, which I removed. The laser now projects to the lens, making it functional, though the actual optic point itself is incredibly blurry. I suspect the fabric cover I removed was a sort of filter that was supposed to channel the laser into a discernible dot, but instead actually completely covered the emitter and prevented it from functioning due to manufacturing error. I contacted Evike and they have agreed to send me a replacement, which I will be testing to determine if this defect is common, and what the proper resolution for it will be.

As a side note, though I was not surprised, the sight came with no instructions whatsoever, and it has few useful markings on board the frame of the product, making it somewhat difficult to determine how to operate it. The sight, for $30 is, of course, rather cheap, and even the power switch on the side of the sight does not fully change positions when in "on" position, leading to some confusion about whether the sight is actually on or not, especially when combined with the aforementioned manufacturing defect. Overall, since I received a defective product, I can't provide details about its operation, so I can't recommend the product at this time. If the replacement I receive is functional, I will update the review to match it's performance. If you are willing to take a gamble on a $30 cheap sight because of it's unique aesthetics, you can probably rest assured that Evike Customer Service will take care of you, so it's not the riskiest purchase imaginable.

1 star for aesthetics

"Received a defective sight. No instructions on the box making a first time user, like myself, feel confused or overwhelmed. Not superised for only $30 but wish i could've at least gotten a couple uses out of it to be able to leave a complete review. Disappointed buyer, would not reccommend
