Streamlight TLR-1-HL 1000 Lumen C4 LED Rail Mounted Weapon Light (Color: Black)

"Just to address the LM reading, the older lights 2018 and below (i think idk the year forsure) are 800lm and everything past that is 1000lm.... with that said, I use these lights for both real steel and airsoft. They are amazing espically for the price and yes it does have a short runtime but for the size and output I cant complain
I have probably 5 or 6 of these lights and for airsoft they are pretty much my go to. 10/10 recommend

"This light fits perfectly and snug onto my marui base g17. Know that there are other *rail* keys that come with the package that will allow it to be mounted on to just about any under rail on a pistol or picatinny rail although honestly i found the gl0ck key that it comes preinstalled with to fit on to just about anything else and then just tighten it on with the screw on the side of the light to make it snug. The light is... well... 800 lumens which is pretty dang bright. I'm able to light up trees that are 100yrds away exactly with no problem. Up close, the spill on the light is fantastic! It illuminates pretty much all of my immediate surroundings in my peripherals. The switch is easy to manipulate. Know that pushing down on the left side is only momentary meaning as long as you hold it down and pushing all the way down on the right will lock the switch into a steady on position until you push it back up. To access strobe you just have to kind of double tap on either side. If you're going to lock it into a steady ON position on strobe just lightly push down on the right first and then a HARD down into the lock position. Also there is a way to program it to disable strobe/re-enable it incase you find yourself accidentally turning strobe on more often than you'd like. All is in the instructions the light comes with which is easy to follow. If not, tons of videos online.

ALSO, It's important to note that the TLR-1 HL (this light) is NOT the same dimensions as other TLR-1 variants. A lot of people will say they are the same and will fit preexisting holsters that are for the older TLR-1 models. This is not true. the TLR-1 HL is slightly larger which is enough to make molded holsters not work. I have discovered this from my most recent experience...

Double also, Evike cr123 batteries work amazing. And they are cheap. Pick up a bunch.

PROS:
-800 lumens!
-Pretty Cheap for a real steal weapon light.
-Feels just as solid if not more than other weapon lights out there.
-The light spill onto surroundings as well as the throw is perfect to me.
-Light weight.
-Snug as a bug in a tempurpedic mattress on my g17.
-Easy to operate and manipulate switches while mounted.

CONS
-About 1 hour battery life. MAYBE 1.25hr. But thats standard for the amount of lumens its putting out
-Strobe is a little funky to activate, the double press but, I, for one, don't really use strobe anyway.
-Its hard to find someone who makes a kydex holster to specifically accommodate the HL model on a g17.
