Airsoft Masterpiece 1911 Bushing & Recoil Spring Plug (Color: Black)

"The ring on the back of my original WE 1911 recoil spring plug sheered off. I kept shooting it thinking that wasn't important not being part of the original 1911 design. So that transferred the force to my bushing which soon broke.
I wanted steel replacements so I got this part even though it's for a Tokyo Marui.
The plug fit my WE just fine. It's not drilled out as deep as the original so the spring is a bit more compressed, but it works. I should probably upgrade to a full length guide rod to stop the spring binding.
The Bushing is steel, but feels light. It does not really fit the WE. The tab that anchors it to the slide is too deep. This causes to bushing to stick out. Technically it works. What's funny is that a bushing from my Kimber 1911 fits the WE slide perfectly! Unfortunately that is slightly too tight for the barrel. I think I might order one of those from Kimber and drill it out.
