Airsoft Masterpiece Guide Rod for Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa 5.1 (Color: Silver)

"This guide rod was well worth the money. Other than cosmetics, this guide rod allows you to short stroke your 5.1 as much as you want without having to deal with not having enough room to be able to fit back into the slide with a 5.1 guide plug instead of having to buy a 4.3 plug.

"Love it. Feels much more durable than the stock spring guide. I recommend putting a small bit of loctite on the thread so that it doesn't come loose when you're shooting.

"It has a nice smooth finish that improved the smoothness of the cycle. I also paired it with a fitted AM guideplug and its very smooth with a little bit of gun oil. I thought the screw apart feature might've helped with putting the guide rod and spring back in but it doesn't really help.

This part wowed me. It is one of the few airsoft parts I've picked up and it just felt luxurious. It's somewhat heavy, roughly the same or slightly heavier than the stock kwa one I replaced. It screws apart and secures back together solidly with good threads. But, it's a guide rod; there's not really any upgraded function it's gonna give you. It was a drop in part on my shooter's design slide.

The finish on it is great. It's shiny and deep gold, without that pale yellow of cheaper finishes or the slightly more matte finish of WE and AW custom parts.

My final verdict is that it's absolutely unnecessary, but it's a really nice touch. It is certainly worth the 20$ for me.
