Fast Hard Shell Magazine Holsters Set of 2 for MP7 MP5 Pistol SMG (Color: Camo)

"These work extremely well for MP5 (Hi-Cap and Mid-Caps)!!!!!!!!!!!

Positive statements:
They look very nice and are a very neat way to retain mags

Very fast reloads, probably the fastest you can get.

Fits the standard molle very easily, you can even change in the field.

I did try double stacking the pouches on top of each other, I thought it did work out well in function but some feedback I got was people felt the double stack look was too many mags, so I changed to a single stack with a speed loader instead for *form*. Either way, they work great.

Negative statements:
They keep the magazines retained, except as I said if you land too hard on one it may break or the rubber that keeps them retained may come undone. You will realize which holster is loose and you should be able to fix it later, but if not do plan for an extra holster or two.

I have had one or two breaks, by going prone too hard, but I did buy a couple of extras because I did not realize each purchase is a set of 2 and I would recommend you expect one or two to break over heavy use.

Notes:
I would not mount it to your side plates if you have them, they are built for the front and back plate (teammates can grab it from the back). The mp5 (30 rd mag size) is too long and will hit your arms.

You can theoretically mount them with the magazine facing down. I do not personally do it as people give me weird looks but depending on a niche plate carrier setup it will work.

"Love how well they work with my mp5 mags but they Do NOT work with VFC MP7 AEG mags. The VFC mags are too wide.

"Great for the TM Mp7 aep mags. Holds very snug.

"Made very well and hold my mp5 mags very snug. Good buy

THESE DO NOT WORK WITH THE SCORPION EVO. I tried to modify them and have had no luck. They don’t open wide enough.

"works well with the krytac kriss vector, glad I got em.

"If you have a KWA/Umarex mp7 then these will fit your mags with not modification needed. The fit snug and it takes some effort to get them in but the do not fall out at all once they are in they are in until you pull them out. 100% satisfied!

"These mag holder are awesome, especially for the price, though they do require minor modification.
If you want a sum up here it is.
Pro's
Holds mags very snug (even when crawling)
AMAZING price point!
Love the camo options.
Light weight.
Easy to attach to molle (easier then a lot of soft shells)
Comparable to the HSGI taco's in design/hold, but 1/3rd the price
CON'S
Needs to be beveled (can do with a dremal+sander) for better mag replacements
Solid square design can knock the wind out of you when you dive (see full details below)
Now lets go through the full details.
1st off. They hold the mags very well. So well that I can crawl (with them between my chest and the ground) and they do not slide out. To me I require this because I do a lot of flanking, most of which is crawling. I've occasionally crawled more than two miles in a single game day.
2nd. They are very easy to pull mags from. This particular design if you pull it away from your chest (prying the slot open) it releases even easier.
3rd. They require some brief modification, to bevel the slot's opening. Think of a pistol going into the mag well. Not beveled, the mag has to go in perfectly or not at all, allowing no breathing room. If you buy a mag well bevel, it allows breathing room, easier to reload. IF you bevel the magwell which can easily be done with a dremal and small sanding disc (or even done with a hand file though it'll take longer) putting mags into this is 100x easier. The mags fit so perfectly it has to be beveled, or you will spend a lot of time attempting to get it in.
Now that I beveled the mag holsters, I can removed and replace mags in a matter of 1-3 seconds per switch. This allows me no need for a dump pouch. Personally I can't stand dump pouches. For many reasons. 1st, they look like crap. 2nd, they flap around causing noise. 3rd, when full your mags swing and spank you with every stride. 4th, when you play how I do (constantly jumping, diving, rolling, crawling, etc) you're body weight gets on every side at some point in the game, it's not fun to lay down on 6 mags shoved into your side/back. 5th, one less thing to carry. 6th, when full, dump pouches are known to allow things to come out (out of the guys that most often lose things, almost all use dump pouches, I have never lost anything on field).

I've tried many pouches. Simple velcro pouches (my least fav) HSGI taco pouches (just as good of pouches, though they are 3x as expensive) even these mag pouches that are dual mag but shove the next mag forward when you pull the other mag out. Also an awesome design, but they were about 40$ per dual mag pouch. I still enjoy these pouches the most, and the price point makes me love them that much more. Highly recommend to any M4 users. I hope to see these come out in a few more mag sizes (SMG mags, Sniper mags like SR25, Extended pistol mags, pistol mags, etc) Just hope they learn to bevel them for us.

"Very good in quality, just doesn't work well with 40 round mp7 mags. The mags just have a habit of sticking out too forward, ended up getting snagged on random things like branches or corners. if attached to the plate carrier they get in the way of mobility, so they work best on a battle belt. I can see these working well with 20 round mp7 mags or even mp5 mags, just can't seem to make 40 round mags work with these but I'm willing to exercise the thought I could be using these wrong or just don't work for me.

"They do what they're supposed to do. Quick to grab and hold pretty secure. Obliterated giving 4 starts because the plastic is brittle and I did manage to snap one of the top flaps off on accident without much force.

"So I imagine they worked for most people my girlfriend bought them for her We-tech smg-8 gbb mags and they do no fit at all other then that solid construction alittle hard to get onto the vest but once fastened there not going anywhere
by Austin L. on 10/05/2017
"I bought these to see if they would work well with Hi-Capa magazines and they don't work. On the other hand they work very well with my friends scorpion magazines so he now owns them. I am talking about the pistol scorpion not the lame EVO one.

"Right off the bat, I ordered these to carry real double stack pistol mags in for a range. Because they were cheaper than most alternatives. The fitment isnt perfect, and these mags are just as thick as MP5 mags. That being said Id be afraid to put a mag, without the additional weight of real bullets, thats twice the size, into this holder, and then run around a field.

"Holds magazines well but heavier mags might wear them down quickly. KWA Mp7 mags fit well but might not stay in if crawling or over time. Lower score because they cannot be placed directly next to one another. THESE WILL ONLY FIT WITH ONE MOLLE SPACE IN BETWEEN EACH HOLSTER. It looks kinda odd and cant fit as many as id like on my plate carrier.
by Yi W. on 03/01/2020
"Don’t buy these if it’s for the KWA mp7 mags as they’re heavy and will make these mag holsters start to separate at the top allowing for the mags to fall out. There are two halves to this mag holster that is held together by two strong elastic bands. At the top of the mag holster there’s a groove on both sides where the other half slides in. Because there’s no way of locking the two halves together, the kwa mp7 mag’s weight will begin to separate the two halves at the top. Although the elastic bands hold the holster together, there’s enough room where the mags aren’t snug anymore and will fall out.
