"Got this from the boneyard. Absolutely love it. Feels very sturdy.
Charging handle is very realistic, meaning it has a built in mock piston that actually slides in the gas tube, and has a guide/recoil spring that add to the realism. Very goo details.

"I am a guy who likes big guns. When I opened the box I was a little off putby the thinness of the rpk. But as soon as I took her in to the first match all my negativity was squashed. The cyma rpk was sending plastic farther than expected. My only issue with the gun was that the magazine that came with it couldn't keep up with the output of the gun. After purchasing the 2500 round sound activated drum I'm in love with this machine. Don't let the 13pound weight of the gun give you concern. The weight is spread out along the length giving it a kind of balance and realistic feel. I also purchased a rail set for the rpk and found it very easy to install. It allowed me to put a foregrip out to the side giving me another hold point for leaning out sideways from behind cover without fully exposing myself. I am very pleased with the rpk being my choice in support weapon and plan to buy a second one to modify for a DMR.

"omg, this gun is the beast. i took off the bipod due to its weight and add on an angel custom firestorm drum mag. double my hits out on battle. medium range is excellent, long range is good.

"I have not had this gun for very long, but so far this gun shoots great and feels real. I would recommend getting a drum magazine (takes regular ak mags), a scope mount, and a acog scope. Those items make it feel like a real lmg. I would also recommend wearing gloves due to the hand grip design. I would recommend .25 or maybe .28 gram bbs for indoors and outdoors
Pros:
- high fps
- good hop-up
- shoots very fast
- very consistent and accurate
- long barrel (also a con)
- heavy (also a con)
- pretty much everything is metal
- full metal and steel internals
- you have to unscrew the butt plate of the stock to access the battery, but this means it is very sturdy and secure.
- a lot of battery space
- sturdy fire selector (in russian but simple to figure out)
- built in rail mount (russian side mount)
Cons:
- folding stock wiggles a little and is hard to unfold
- the rear sight wiggles (only in the upright position)
- the bipod is very wiggly but sturdy at the same time (which is expected)
- the grip will hurt your thumb due to the grip design and all the weight (just wear gloves and you will be fine
Overall this is an amazing gun especially for its price, and I would highly recommend it.

"This thing left me speechless. Built very well with a thick barrel, metal receiver, metal everything. There is some pot metal, but as long as youre not slamming it down on concrete youll be fine. The big advantage of this over the wood version is the folding stock and slightly larger battery space. I am able to cram common 9.6 nunchuck batteries into this stock. Being able to fold is nice and does make the stock wobble quite a bit, but this in no way affects the usability of this gun. Front sight is canted a little bit, but this a common characteristic of ak's (many real steel ak's have canted sights). Bi-pod works well, but i found myself not using it and ended up zip-tying it to the cleaning rod to keep it from moving around too much. The rear sight did pop off while I was out in the field, not a big deal to me, I really dont need it. The weight is also a huge plus with this gun, weighing much much less than other lmg's. I'm a thinner guy and had no problem lugging this around. (I got a soviet surplus rpk sling off of ebay for $15, works perfectly on this replica.) The other half of this story is performance, which is outstanding. Out of the box it was shooting 448 fps with .20s. Using .25s you can easily hit targets at 250 feet, great accuracy. Rate of fire is not super high, but not super slow, kind of just right. I've been using an angel custom firestorm drum with this, and it works beautifully. Only time will tell how truely durable this system is, but I have high hopes. With the perfect combination of build quality, amazing performance, and affordability, I highly recommend this gun to anyone looking for an excellent machine gun.

"I've used this gun at two events so far and am absolutely in love with it. If you want an rpk this is great for the money.
