"I've used this for 2 years now with no issues. The wood is soft but I've replaced it with steel rails. No internal upgrades made yet.

"So much bang for your buck with this one. The real wood finish is amazing, the gun performed beautifully. After a bit I started having problems with air seal but it was time for upgrades at that point anyways. Loads of options for upgrades with this and most aftermarket parts fit in seamlessly.

"This gun is excellent for its price point. As with most underfolders the stock can be wobbly, but tightening down where the rear sling mount is can actually really eliminate most of the wobble (and be careful to make sure it doesn’t loosen up as it can loosen to the point of falling off). Hits hard, shoots far, very consistent, and a nothing special but not terrible trigger. Externally a very pretty piece of kit. Anything better would probably be an lct

"Absolutely wonderful
I bought the CM048M, and my god is is sick. Full steel body, fantastic wood furniture, and a great polymer pistol grip. The wood in person looks nothing like in the pictures, it looks like a 5000 dollar coffee table that like Bill Gates would own or something. Its a joy to hold and to shoot, and boy does it shoot, its a dang laser beam around 50 to 75 feet (15 to 22 meters for international folks).
Overall fantastic gun! 10/10 would recommend

"It’s great solid gun for some reason the folding stock on mine hasn’t broke unlike others CYMA ak variants that I have shot and owned the build construction is fantastic and performance of this gun is solid I would recommend a titan 7.4 LiPo to run and the plastic hi cap may feel cheep but it is pretty sturdy though mags do wobble a lot in this gun

"Wood has an excellent finish also the stamped steel really adds to the realism. This shoots about 340 fps with .25 out of the box so its great for most fields. I honestly won't touch the gearbox until something breaks because performance is fantastic out of the box. Shoots straight and far.

"PROS:
Pretty. Real (dentable) wood with a nice finish.
Tough. Can be thrown & dropped, and while I may fear for something like the fake charging handle snapping if THROWN on concrete, it's not a big deal. Think, your polymer M4 would snap in half. This barely takes any beating.
Modifiable. Lots of internal aftermarket support. Make her anything you want.
CYMA. It will run until the world ends, good luck trying to break this thing, you can't.
CONS:
A bit hard to take apart. Can be learned though.
External modifiability is meh. Some parts exist, but some don't.
Can be a slight bit wobbly in some places, (ex: handguard & stock), but it's more of a realistic detail than "con".
FPS starts at about 420 OOB, but then degrades to about 390 once she's broken in. It happens with nearly anything.
OVERALL:
Great for anybody. Works like a champ. Best beginner AK hands down.

"Now this is a good gun. Ive heard that CYMA makes some good AK models and boy were they right, this is an absolute top-tier gun, never been happier for a cheap and affordable option.

"This cyma ak is once again fantastic. Great range, not too heavy, tons of battery space. The only bad thing is the wood is a little soft but overall great gun.

"This is one of the best guns I have gotten. it out shoots my hk mp5 a5 and keeps consistent groupings. 10/10
PS: the wood is the same color as the wood on the Ak74 or the cm.48

"Solid rifle, wood finish looks good. Stock is deceptively small for battery space, I’d recommend a small 7.4v lipo stick.
My rifle came shooting about 390fps which is perfect. Range is just under 200ft with .30s.
I also own the cm.045c and for some reason that gearbox sounds better than the AKM, not sure if it’s due to the lighter spring (shoots 350fps) but it just sounds smoother.
All in all great gun for the money. Nothing like the classic metal and wood AK.
I’d recommend grabbing the matrix mid caps for this rifle, they fit very snug.

"I had been searching for the perfect rifle for a couple of years and stumbled upon this jewel. The realistic weight is definitely a pro if you like the feel of a real gun, if not, then why are you even doing airsoft? I haven't had a chance to chrono her but I shot my friends in a backyard match and now they're all scared when I pull "Svetlana" out. She's the most American Slavic gun I have ever found. If you want a gun that looks nice and fires straight right out of the box, then this gun is for you.
Pros:
Full metal.
Strange secret compartment in the stock, good for storing bacon for in-match snacks.
Rugged as all heck.
No rails on the top like a true slavic gun but rails everywhere else.
Adjustable stock for if you have long arms like me.
VERY high cap magazine that comes with the rifle; plastic but metal on the inside.
A sling mount on the stock tube for a single point if you're a sissy and don't value your balls.
Cons:
you have to tighten the firing mode lever every so often but that's to be expected with an AK varient.
Grip is plastic so it might break with a lot of wear.
you have to grip the rails when holding the gun so if you don't have gloves it gets a bit uncomfortable.
All in all 10/10 gun for me right now, I definitely recommend it.
