GATE USB-Link 2 for GATE Control Station App

5 Customer Reviews

"Easy to use device and it is pretty cool that there is an app for Gate mosfets. Was able to adjust my gun to allow burst fire, protect my battery, trigger, and motor, as well as many other useful features. A must-have if you use any of the compatible Gate mosfets.

"Super easy setup and access into GATE Titan or Aster. Just download the app on your phone and then plug the supplied wire into the gate and your phone. (Will need a USB-A to USB-C adapter for android).

Pros:
+ easy set up
+ intuitive and fast app interface

Cons::
- does not supply adapter for phones

This might not work with iPhones since they have proprietary lighting plugs. In which case, you can download the PC application of the GATE interface.

"REQURIED FOR BASIC TITAN GATE for some or most of you with the basic. I installed the Basic version and the trigger and fire selector was way out of wack so I couldn't even use the trigger to program. I had to order and wait a week before I could do anything. Once it was calibrated it was fine.

"Does what it's meant to do, as it definitely should being a $30 USB adapter... Comes with a USB Micro-B to USB 2.0 cable. Works perfectly with GCS Android and Windows distributions.

3/5 for a few reasons.

1) It doesn't come with an adapter for your phone, even though GATE advertises it as being phone-friendly. I bought a super cheap USB 2.0 to USB-C adapter so I could use it on my phone, and it works as it should.
2) The price for this is astronomically high for what it is, and it's a necessary purchase to edit settings that should absolutely be programmable via trigger (even without upgrading to Advanced or Expert firmware). Also necessary for simply updating the firmware of your mosfet, which is a seriously big deal, as the Aster previously had a critical firmware patch released and you HAD to have this thing to install it - no direct support from GATE at all in this regard, buy the $30 USB adapter or fry your $80-140 mosfet.

Charge people $5 a pop to program their GATE mosfets at games, probably make your $30 back pretty fast.
