This is a great upgrade for your vsr if you still like the traditional vsr slider unit and still want to sling .48 gram bbs out to 280 feet accurately. This unit is really well machined and futures very good improvement over the stock unit such as it is a completely metal unit and features a concave design nub/hop arm that works very well with maple leaf and modify buckings and gives a great seal. This still uses your traditional slider adjustment and is very firm, gives great feedback when adjustment is made and has very audible clicks that holds with no issues. It uses the trading feeding ramp/lip like the original unit as well. The biggest improvement is the arm itself that puts downward pressure on the hop arm. It is a metal bar that puts absolute even pressure across the hop arm that give a dead center bb flight path which makes it very easy to predict shots. If I had to compare, this is a great unit when compared to the legendary action army chamber while being cheaper and providing just as consistent results all while being half of the cost.

My only gripe about this unit is like any other click slide adjustment unit which is where 1 click might be too little hop and 1 click might be too much hop when trying to fine tune your bb hop. This is still a great unit and I would buy it again. Hope this helps!
