" An update to my last review, just to help anyone who needs to use this. I finally got one to last a little while and not blow out it's o-ring on me by putting a drop of silicone oil at the base of the silver stem where it meets the red cap and let the oil seep down into the stem to lubricate the rubber o-ring beneath. I do this before using the adapter and after I'm done before storing it. When you first buy the adapter I would put a drop in and let it work itself in for about a day before using it too.
" Agreed with the last reviewer, I've gone through 3 or 4 of these and all have the same thing happen, a small o ring beneath the stem rips after a few uses and then air leaks from around the base of the stem and will never make it into your shotgun shell (at least that's what I'm trying to use it for). I wish there was an alternative but this is the only CO2 adapter I've found that can fill APS MKiii shells.
