"The magazine works really really good and I'm excited to have it. Another great product that I've gotten from Evike. But that being said, it doesn't fit quite right on my M249 Featherweight. It hooks into the Receiver great and stays hooked in, but when I put the drum mag on the bottom of the gun, the plastic that's on the border of the part that connects to the receiver pushes down on the latch that locks the mag onto the gun. Don't get me wrong, it's a GREAT product that deserves the 5 stars. I'm not giving up on it and will find a way to make it stay on (I'll be getting a Middleweight soon and will try it on that one to see if there's a difference), but out of the box, yeah it just doesn't wanna stay ON the Featherweight.

"so i bought this as a extra mag to my 2500 mag that came standard with the M249 MK II, and all i have to say is this mag looks, feels, and feeds amazing. It is sooo much smaller than the 2500 round one, and as a result makes the gun a million times more mauverable. My arm still has to wrap around it but it is substantially more comfortable than the 2500 round box mag.

"I've no complaints. Works as expected. I wish it was a bit larger to hold more. But I knew it was smaller capacity when I purchased.

"This mag is beautiful. It's way smaller than you think it is, imagine a 50rnd 7.62 belt box or a smaller 100 ish round 5.56 box. It's tiny, but there's basically no dead space and that 1500 rounds fills the capacity well. Runs great.

"i bought two of these box mag for a&k m249. they are twice better than the original bulky mag. come with rechargeable battery and adapter. fabric layer provide protection and better look.

"I love it. Works great on my FN featherweight 249. Took it to the field last week and had no issues with it feeding. One thing I noticed is the spring tube for the bb's expands when it's under pressure. I thought it was coming out of the box, but it was just extended. Wish this ran on AA's like the larger box mags, but the rechargeable battery lasted the entire day with no issues. Very happy with it so far. It does rattle a little bit on the mounting bracket, but this isn't an issue. There is a remote pressure switch for winding the feeding mechanism, but I just used the sound activated mode. Again, no issues with it. Thinking about getting a second one for those longer games.

"Way better feel and look then a Normal Echo1/A&K drum mag...

So what can i say. 1 game in. The Auto wide Doesnt work good on a P* m249 but on a friends normal AEG M249 works good. the Auto DeWinder built in ( so you dont brake the spring ) is nice to have.. so you can just leave the BBs in the mag when your not using it. Not a fan of the battery's wish i could just use a normal AA or AAA in it.

Con Auto wind Just doesnt stop... kinda scared im going to brake it if i let it keep going.

Have to wait and see if it out last a MAG M249 drum.

"So this magazine is actually really good for the saws you can get these days, I bought the mag and ran it around five times so far. It's somewhat heavy, and is very durable (for me) and it is easy to charge. I would have to say this is way better then the 2500 round mag, but it suffers from reduced ammo capacity and its charge time is not the greatest in the world.

Pros
Durable
Chargeable
Hefty weight

"The only reason it’s getting 4 star is because it doesn’t come with the pressure switch wire anymore, forcing you to buy it separately. Additionally, the battery it comes with is not good either, I suggest buying a 7.4v 350mah JST battery to power this. Otherwise, very solid. Also no, it does not have sound control.

"The rechargeable battery is comes with is garbage, so I rewired it to use a 9V battery. Now it feeds great, no complaints. The battery way dead and would not charge when I got it.

"This mag worked great with the featherweight m249. feels a bit clumsy to attach to gun as you have to load the mag part pretty much at the same time. I love the low weight design with still a good amount of bbs. I bought for juggernaut mode mainly.

I was pleased to see the sound control worked well and it worked as it should for me without problems

But I will gripe about the battery as it is false advertising. It is not 2 AA. it is a small rechargeable battery pack with no info about it that uses the JST 2 pin connectors. It charges to a USB port and I dont know if there is dangers of overcharging but it has a red light for charging and it shuts off when done. I have yet to know where to get more of these batteries.
However I will say the battery works fine. also the space for the battery is literally made to fit and has a little screw and plate to remove battery so don't lose those. It wont fit similar electric winding batteries if they are different dimensions, ( which they are)
honestly just don't know where to get spares so if it goes out on me the mag is useless.

"First of all, BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRT, second I have two gripes with this box mag, the first is that the mic wire disconnected on the first use, second, in order to use with the cybergun m249 featherweight, I had to cut off a part of the lip that was making contact with the mag release, but after that modification, it fit in perfectly and wouldnt come out by accident.

"The Box mag fits VERY snug in the bracket on the gun, there is no wobble of the mag on my Matrix MK46 (M249). The pressure switch has plenty of cord for you to put it on the pistol grip, or hand guard. The plastic is DEFIANTLY a better quality than the stock mag, it is high strength polymer, much more reliable. My problem is the BS proprietary battery, and hidden/small as can be filling port for BBs. Mag seems to keep up with my SMPed M249, So in all, its a win i guess?
