"Solid backup weapon, but if you have skinny arms like I do, the pistol grip variant may be a bit of a workout to pump. You'd likely be better off getting literally any stock version.

"I’ve had this gun for over a year now and it’s one of my favorite ones.
First of its very high quality metal and Theo are no loose parts.
I wouldn’t recommend as a primary weapon, however it is a really nice backup.
It doesn’t have a very long period range but it is very good for cqb/ room clearing scenarios
Overall it’s a good BACKUP gun with no mechanical issues at all.

"Before this i had the previous version of the metal M3.
so far the differences I've noticed are:
-New pistol grip is weird
-New pump is a bit harder to keep a grip on
-Slide has a little charging handle on it now
-Lever in front of the pump lets you unlock it when the gun is cocked
-Iron sights! they're even windage adjustable for some reason.
-Whole gun feels a bit heavier than the old version
-Rotating sling swivel on the side of the grip

other than that, its the same gun. The spring seems a bit heavier but my previous trishot was used to death and it's pump was pretty broken in. Still very accurate with .28s with a paper plate size spread at 50 feet. Big takeaway is that the new furniture is much fatter and slicker which may make it difficult for younger kids to operate.

"ive used this at my local cqb field for awhile and ive had few problems the first being the pump its stiff but gets looser with use and the last being the spring for the trap door it has a tendency to pop out off place but a air of tweezers can fix that overall the construction is nice and sturdy its an ok starter gun and for the price i can see why

"pros:
cheap shells
spring so no gas or batteries
feels really sturdy
sling mounts for those who want it
price

cons:
fixed hop up, but all you gotta do is use .28 bbs and it'll shoot straight

great buy for the price!

"Great airsoft gun for the buy. It was cheap compared to other shotguns. It is so far reliable and works good. One thing is, it didn’t come with instructions. This could have been a small mistake. In conclusion, I recommend buying unless you have more money to spend.

"I recently got to use mine and boy was I so HAPPY I have this in my arsenal. I played some particularly sweaty matches 10/12/19 at oregon airsoft arena. I was using this gun and my fully kitted out ARP9. I was there for 4 hours and at the half way point I decided that this was the gun I'd use for the rest of the day, not my arp. This gun is accurate. This gun shoots 3 shots. Against HPA users, TM hi capa guys, guys that can semi auto faster than my auto can cycle, THIS GUN held its own so well. I was constantly able to land shots across the map because the spread isn't really that wide. The iron sights are true and at one point I rounded a corner, held the trigger down and pumped 4 times, landing 4 kills. Rapid firing this thing is fantastic.

I recommend a Velcro shotgun shell holder for the left panel of the shotgun and a shotgun caddy on the butt-stock that will hold another few rounds.

Downside is that this gun BURNS through ammo. I ran through half a bottle that I purchased that morning. (maybe my aim is just garbage though)

I recommend this gun as an inexpensive RELIABLE addition to your kit. Spring systems are easy to maintain. It is compatible with all TM accessories, and I will be purchasing a shotgun to m4 mag adapter very soon.

"Where do I start? I’ve had it for only a few days and already put at least 1500 rounds through it. It’s so much fun and satisfying to plink with. Reloads are easy and the included speed loader makes filling the shells a piece of cake. I love the feel of this thing. I got the full length retractable stock variant and I couldn’t be happier with the performance. Even though it’s a springer shooting out of three barrels each one hits hard. The only problem is that my front sight fell off, but that’s an easy fix. I plan on mounting a rail and red dot soon anyway. 10/10 would recommend

"This gun? This gun right here? Best gun. I bought the stock less shorty and just like i was told this thing can run along side bolt action snipers and even AEGs in terms of performance. i personally use .30s and the range and accuracy is stupid awesome! Easily hitting a man sized target at up to 100 feet every shot every time. I also ordered a 6 pack of extra shells thinking it only came with 1, it actually comes with 3 so after my roommate gave an extra he had, i was rocking 10 shells to carry on with me. the feeling of carrying this literal weapon of mass destruction with 10 shells on top of the fact that the reload is super easy and quick made me an instant bad-***. and you feel it too! its super great, highly recommended here just make sure you pick up the version that suits you most!
*SIDE NOTE we found just this week actually that this gun HATES the cold. it locks up and refuses to chamber or even fire any BBs in colder conditions. this is fine however if you live in a temperate region, or don't want to have a snow fort shotgun battle. after we got her in the warmth again sure as sugar she fired just like new, in case you were wondering.

"Just unboxed my full length, adjustible stock virsion today.

I want to share two things that I was not expecting and did not see in the description or the other reviews.

First off, what I found both odd and rather neat is the sights which are adjustible for windage (left and right) which seems unnecessary for an airsoft shotgun but is also completely useless with the stock in the two shorter positions since you can't get your eye down to them. Still it's a nice touch.

Second, what I first thought was a defect but then realized was an asset was that the stock has a spring tensioned 'twist' ability. I'm not sure exactly what to do with it but I think it helps with reloading/pumping.

In conclusion this is an excellent addition to any airsoft arsenal

I hope this was helpful to you

"I'm very picky when it comes to airsoft guns and guns in general. Reliability, performance, and most importantly the feeling when I hold it. I have to say the CYMA M3 Super 90 is now my all time favorite airsoft gun I own now.

I had got the full-size one with the full stock because I just liked the look and it's true to the original. And in hindsight, it's something that I both love and hate. The full sized shotgun is long, extremely long. Almost three and a half feet long. This gives the shotgun an intimidating presence compared to other guns. Yeah, it might not be great in CQB for maneuverability sakes, but I'll tell you why that doesn't matter later on.

When I first opened up the frankly boring cardboard box and picked it up, I was surprised by the build quality. Everything that's supposed to be metal is metal and everything that is plastic is plastic. No seams in the plastic molding and no wobble besides the slight give the pump has but you kinda need that for better ergonomics. Now the metal is some aluminum/zinc alloy that feels heavy. It's your average pot metal, can take a beating just don't run it over in your truck or something. The plastic, however, is really tough. It feels very sturdy and, if you want to, can probably use the stock as a sledgehammer.

Now when I took my M3 outside to go shoot I was expecting, as anyone would, spring gun like performance. BBs would follow an arch and just kind of fly everywhere. That's not what I got. Standing at about 100ft I was able to hit a, albeit skinny, man-sized target with at least 1 of the BBs every shot. I was using .2s so heavier BBs might make it even better. I then wanted to try out a thing that every good shotgun should be able to do. Slamfire. Holy hell was slamfiring this thing extremely satisfying. You can absolutely use this in a field-type game, you just have to get close enough to unleash the slamfire and rain hell on anything within 40ft.

Jumping from using a G36 AEG to a Tri-burst shotgun is jarring. The shells are easy to load because of how big the opening is. It allows any speed loader to lock inside and load the BBs directly into a shell. If you got a good speed loader, you can load 15 shells in under five minutes. No batteries mean that I can get up, grab the M3, and head outside to practice shooting. The shells are small enough to fit into any jacket pocket. And, if you're in a rush, just drop out of the little cage it's in when you disengage it. Making for fast reloads. But most of all. The M3, or any tri-shot shotgun, is like if you're hooked up to a machine pumping you full of dopamine for every kill. You feel like a bad*** every time you pump the gun.

I shall now try and sum up this entire review with 250 words or less.

Pros
* A Tokyo Marui system within a metal body for only $100.
* Very nice spread.
* While there might be a spread, it's still accurate and will hit where you're aiming.
* Durable, heavy exterior makes it feel extremely authentic.
* Can be slam fired when you REALLY need to lock a place down.
* No battery, no gas, just pump and shoot.
* While it might not seem like it, you can replace the inner barrels and spring. Increasing performance if need be.
* Actually really easy to reload.
* The ejection port goes back when you pump it. It makes me happy.

Things up to interpretation
* Being spring powered, it's not going to have the rate of fire of AEGs or GBs, even when slamfired.
* While the range is great, It's not as good as some of the high-end AEGs or GBs.
* Have to get in close to unleash the power of slamfire.
* You're going to be sore after using this thing for more than an hour.

Cons
* Its a massive change in gameplay compared to conventional AEGs or GBs.
* Needs a test shooting period to relax the spring and make it easier to pump.
* Basic sights.
* Thing is a long boi.

This thing is better than my AEGs, sad really.

"I want to say thanks evike for taking in my gun twice, the first time for broken sights, and the second time for double loading the thing and breaking it. I did this within the warranty and they took in the gun w/o question. I hope i dont break it again.

Pros-
perfect fps for cqb (300-350)
realistic weight
shoots straight and has an effective range of about 20-30 yards.

Cons-
kinda heavy.
READ THIS- make sure you pump the gun firmly back in forth to prevent a double loading. I tried pumping it too fast and didn't let the gun cycle properly, which broke it.

"Great gun, my friend owns one and im constantly borrowing it. Very durable, Make sure you eat some spinach in the morning before you try to pump this.
