"Tacticool KSG

Well, this thing is awesome. The looks, the feel and the performance are all great. This is Tokyo Marui at it's best. Like most TM guns. it's mostly plastic construction, but it's the high quality kind of plastic. Sturdy and strong.
I was able to get 150 shots out of one full gas tank, much more than what was advertised. 3 and 6 round shots were great, but for most effectiveness stick to 3 shot. In CQB, If you know you'll be encountering more than 2 enemies at a time switch to 6 shot. I'd say realistically effective combat engagement distance with this is around 15 meters, any farther and you'll see a significantly larger inaccurate spread. 20 meters is the most I would use this at unless you mod this to HPA.

"This is nothing more than absolute AWESOMENESS!!!

I’ve used this as my secondary weapon in woodland and my primary for close quarters and every time it continues to surprise me with its accuracy and range. The spread with 3 shot is ok but on 6 shot is where it shines, highly recommend.25s! Plus every time you rack the pump it’s oh so satisfying!

I only have 2 complains, my gas tank I received was a bit leaky but I you’ll need more tanks if you’re going to use this a primary anyways and the flip up sights feel like cheap plastic (but it’s a Tokyo Marui so not a huge shocker and they’re removable)

Overall I highly suggest it! For this being my first TM I’m definitely going to get another product from them in the future!

"I've had my eye on this ksg for a long time, and finally jumped on it. It does not disappoint. The construction feels super solid and the racking sensation of the pump definitely beats other brands of gas shotguns. I suggest rigging some kind of strap at the rear to help with your reloads so the gun doesn't tax your wrist so much. Other than that it shoots really well and I can usually get through close to 7 shells before running out of gas. It shoots pretty far too for a fixed hop up, and for the inner barrels not going all the way up to the orange tip (they go closer to halfway up the barrel). I think you can definitely use this in an outdoor field.

Tokyo Marui shells feed a little better than other cheaper brands but not by that much, so i'd recommend the cheaper shells, especially if you are going to lose them. Im talking a difference of one bb left over in the cheaper shells and none in the TM shells.

One thing thats interesting is when you fill the gas tank it sounds like its leaking, but apparently isnt. After around 15 seconds the gas tank will visibly shoot some gas back at you and then you know it's full. A small issue I ran into is sometimes when you eject the gas tank while it's mostly full, and you try to reinsert it, it wont work. You'll then have to eject and leak some gas through the valve a bit by hand to get it to work again.

I prefer to run the gun in 3 shot mode because 6 shot just blows through my ammo quicker. it chronos 360- 400+ fps on both modes because its hard to read multi shots. if you load a single bb it'll chrono at 320 fps.

This gun absolutely destroys the competition in an indoor game. Just vaguely aim at the enemy and you'll hit them with the spread. No need to zero in optics, just as long as they point generally straight.

This gun is really expensive, but the quality is 100% there.

"One of the best shotguns out there, I've had this for over a year and No fail,
And the mods you can do to this gun are amazing.

"This thing is fantastic. I took it out to the field for the annual Ship of fools finally after preodering it back in September of last year, i got it in November. Its fantastic, the 6 shot has such a good spread on it and its got the typical magic pixie dust that TM puts in their hop ups so its got great range. The only ting is the reload takes a little getting used to and well you don't get many shots from one shell but who cares about that with something like this. Definitely unique to so if your going for that unique trademark load out this is definitely a way to go.

"This is a fantastic shotgun. I pre-ordered this in October and got it this past week, I took it out and it has such a nice weight and balance, and the 6 shot mode is awesome. The thing that I have to complain about is the butt pad on the stock that covers the gas reservoir is a little hard to get off and the instructions aren't in English. Side note the removable top plate under the optic rail has a little switch thing that I thought was a hop-up at first but is actually the 3 or 6 round mode selector.

"I got the TM KSG about 2 months ago and have been able to use it at my local CQB field several times. I am thoroughly impressed with this shotgun. The gun has a real nice weight and feel to it. I was very surprised with how much metal is actually on this gun with it being a TM. The only exterior plastic on the KSG are the lower receiver (Pistol Grip and lower gas chamber) and the pump handle.

The overall feel of the gun in your hands is great. The safety switch has a nice click to it but to some people, they may feel that it is hard to push (although if going by the feel from several different real guns, it is no harder than them). When you rack the gun, it give a nice crisp sound and feel (I have gotten several compliments on how it sounds).

For CQB, the range is great but I am not sure how far it will shoot for field play. The gas reservoir has an ample supply. I have gotten at least 6 shells through the gun before I refilled the reservoir between matches (I have seen on line videos showing the gun getting through 70-75 shots before needing a refill). The only problem I have had, is that the reservoir that came with the gun does not release right (gets stuck in the chamber and is very tight). I purchased an extra reservoir and that one releases fine, so it could be that the chamber just needs to be broken in.

Overall, I am very pleased with the gun and have a blast using it.

Pros:
Great feel and weight
Very satisfying sound when racking the gun
Ability to use TM and UTG shells

Cons:
Gas reservoir that came with gun does not release completely and is tight in camber
Butt Pad is very stiff and hard to get off at first

"I love everything about this shotgun. It pumps nice, shoots really far and the spread is nice. My only complaint was how I had to install the unit tracer IN REVERSE because the metal muzzle (not the orange cap/tip) was impossible to take off. That meant I had to disassemble the top rail, pump and unscrew the barrel to slide in the unit tracer cap and reassemble it back. At first, the shell would get stuck in the loading tube and it's a hassle getting that thing out. All you need to do is smack the side where your shell is located while holding down the latch and it will pop out like it should. After a couple of uses, it wouldn't get stuck anymore and just pop right out without any problems

"Gotta give it 1 star sadly

So I bought my KSG and out of the box it felt and looked great. Unfortunately the gun does not live up to the hype due to mine coming with a horrible gas system. It doesn't accept propane/green gas even though it is advertised it does. I even tried duster gas only getting 2-3 shots before running out of gas. Tried everything to make it work but it just wouldn't.
