"Good solid lump of metal. For those looking for a low mount option, this is it. Other mounts I tried have always ended up putting my scope too high for comfort. This one brought the optic down to a reasonable height that could be fine tuned with a cheek pad. Only issues I had were the rear iron sight had to be removed due to the scope sitting so low and needing a different screw to affix the mount to the receiver (a 5mm fine/machine threaded screw with a washer should do the trick). Rifle used on - basic M14, CYMA 032.a
