"I installed this into a Aps Shark .177 cal and it not only out performs the original stock hammer housing assembly, it also runs smoother especially on full auto, i did put a stronger hammer spring in the assembly then polished the rear rails to let the slide ride smooth as possible without any drag or snags. The dimensions and internal components are exactly the same as the stock one Aps used in the shark pistol, its common sense the shark is basically a glock 17 /18C so many aftermarket parts will work with it, some may require minor fitting...

"this will work with WE glocks as long as you change / modify the hammer. the triangular piece on the hammer hits the back of the blow back unit on 18 model WE glock slides, so changing that would help. i really enjoy the steel parts inside, rather than the WE pot-metal parts.

"Btw this Hammer Assembly works in the Umarex Glock 17 as well. My hammer broke and contacted UMAREX and they said that it would be 4-6 weeks as they are waiting on parts . Looked on here with hope to find a replacement and came across this and it closely resembled the one I removed from my gun and behold a complete drop In . Works even better

"only lasts about 2000 rounds. the metal tab that retains the hammer spring tends to shear off due to poorly hardened metal.
