"Has all the important parts protected in the Chrono tube
The Chrono tube is aluminum and doesn't show any signs of deformation from 600FPS+ shots hitting the sides of the tube

The UI is stupid Simple so you want get lost in menus and you can just get to it

I just wish it took replaceable batterys for fast swapping instead of finding out that it needs to be changed
The battery life is so long that you forgot about it so it doesn't really matter

"This chrono has worked great for the last 5 years. I have never charged it and basically just throw it in my gun box after I'm done upgrading a gun to check the fps. Its lightweight and very easy to use a must have if you do any tech work on your airsoft guns

"I love this Chronograph!

I had very bad luck with a less expensive one, and compared to that, this one is awesome.

Granted... That is not saying much, but I can't fault this device for anything. It is accurate to the best of my capabilities to tell, it works, works well, rarely misses catching the BB speed, and is very inexpensive. Kind of in the "can't loose" category to me.

"Nice and compact, looks good, and works as expected.

"Have had this chrono for 5+ years and still going strong. Others complain about FPS reading hi/lo but not with mine. Clocks about identical to the one I've had to pass at lion claws ops.

Pros:

Consistent and I believe accurate readings
Internal battery has lasted 5 years so far
Holds a charge a very good amount of time
Small and lightweight

Neutral

A bunch of functions that I don't ever use, can't be considered Pro or con for my review because I don't know how well they work

Cons

Drops or ignores the occasional shot, in my unit it's fairly rare
Small side of the cylinder means occasionally I will bounce one off the inside and get an inaccurate reading. More a problem of the size of the aperture vs. malfunctioning unit.

Overall I just use it to calibrate a gun or make adjustments before a big game. Not concerned with rof or anything other than use to Chrono a specific weight of bb depending on venue

"This is a very nice chronograph. Has all the functions you need and looks like a Magpul Pmag!

"Mine works perfectly fine. I even got it used. I honestly haven't even come close to experiencing any of the problems that others have mentioned. And my readings are sport on, you just have to absolutely make sure you don't hit anything with your shot. Has yet to fail.

"I got one of these a little while back. It has worked as it should so far. What it shows is what the ones at the field shows. A must have for anyone that works on there own guns.

"Works we'll for me, matched fps of my We M14s previous chrono. Allowed me to adjust my NPAS in the luxury of my own home instead of wasting time on the chrono line at the field.

Pros- allows accurate pre game chrono saving headaches before a game
-small and adjustable
- accurate so far when compared to field chrono
- a must have for the techie who likes to know and not guess

Cons- was only preconfigured for a handful of BB weights. Had to add several but not world ending

"This chrono is pretty great! All the settings are fully adjustable, the screen is lit up so you can see it in the sun.
It does FPS, MPS, RPS, and RPM

Pros,
adjustable measurements
adjustable bb weight
adjustable auto turn off
pretty reliable and accurate (consistent)

cons,
Sometimes it doesn't want to turn on, the light will turn on but the display won't show. they typically happens when you let it auto turn off. It fixes itself with time.

"This is by far one of the best chronos out there and best for the price we've had one for a year and have just purchased a second one and it works great as well. its safe to say that this functions better and is easier to set up than are madbull which we paid more for.
Pros
reads good
light weight
easy to hold
cheap
durable
easy to work on
Cons
feels a little cheap but may not actually be
it took like 8 days to get here
by Kevin P. on 08/10/2013
"accurate measurements, bps. Only complaint... The screen is not bb proof. My buddy was holding the chrono up to my gun, I shot twice. He moved it away after the first shot. Hit the screen. Bought him a new one _._ So might as well just tape and extra piece of plexy over it to avoid that from ever happening cuz that was one hell of a downer
by Ryan M. on 01/08/2013
"This thing is cool. Its simple it took me like 5 miniutes to figure out. Worth the price
Pros:
Simple
Accurate
Cheap

Cons:
In metric (like meters per second)

Overall great Chrono
by Adam Simon B. on 09/28/2012
"Pros:
Cheap
lots of settings
tripod mount
lightweight
small
"water resistant" (not the chamber)
Accurate

Cons:
Made of plastic
small (can be both)
Settings are a little confusing
not really for paintball (if ball breaks, you must dissemble it to clean)

Overall:
Great for backyard/outlaw player, fields could do better. Will work with paintballs, however breakage is very common. You must take it apart to clean with water, or you could pull a cloth through.
I like it and I recommend it to anyone wanting to test out velocities of guns in the backyard, local forest, etc.
