"9 out of 10 stars*. On this order, I ordered ICS UKSR #2 and #3 from Evike. The front portions of the stocks were once again chipped during shipment (design flaw: vented not solid). Knowing this was likely, I purchased JB Weld liquid steel; filled in the decorative vents with it and painted them 'flat black'. The polymer and everything else everywhere else on this is amazing. The stout recoil pad dampens the recoil of (.308) very well. If one removes material starting from the tip of the cheek piece - rearward (6.8mm ), there will be no interference issues with (.308/6.5 CM) platform charging handles. No cheek piece modifications needed for (6.5 Grendel/.224 Valkyrie/6.8 SPC/etc.) platforms. The adjustment clicks are substantially better than the Magpul PTS (PRS Gen1 replica) stocks. It's been the best carbine tubed stock for me.

"this stock is excellent if you have a gun thats front weight heavy. It throws more of the weight back into your shoulder for better control. (a snipers preferred choice).

the battery compartment allows for a 11.1 li po as well as a mossfet .

The adjustable cheek riser is necessary if you plan on using any scope that doesn't sit low on your gun.

"really actually very good, especially for the price. the height and stock adjustments are solid, smooth. they hold in place quite well. the plastic is a bit rough in places, but that's easily fixed with an emery board (if you don't know what this is, ask your mom/girlfriend/wife. they'll know). there's only 1 part I'm not thrilled with, but have planned to remove that part for mounting anyway so it's not an issue.
so, overall I'm quite impressed.

"Great stock! Picked it up for my new DMR build. The only problem is that if your battery is wired to the stock there is very little space (nunchuck barely fit) so I bought a small lypo hope it works (it should)

"It looks nice and feels nice and I am happy with it overall but there are a few flaws or things to note.it has this really crappy plastic crush washer basically and mine came in broken ,I'm gluing it back together and it's just going to be crushed between metal so it should be ok.the other thing is the locking mechanism is pointless it doesn't lock in your adjustments just keeps the back from popping off

"Overall I can say it is comfortable and easy to install. There is one thing though (this may have happened to only mine). Mine is rather wobbly and loose, everything is tightened down the way it should. One thing that I will mention too, there is not much space inside it. I have an 11.1 Dean's battery that actually doesn't fit, I must order different batteries or a different stock.

Overall this is a (for the most part) well built stock and a good looking one too!

"I like almost everything about this stock accept the polymer piece in the front that makes contact with the (sling loop plate and castle nut) area. The front polymer/plastic is very brittle and it cracked and chipped during installation causing a scratching and cutting hazard to one's hand. This necessary piece, extends internally into the stock and is where the set screw is inserted through the exterior of the stock to the desired hole in the carbine tube. I had to cut, file & sand off the chipped and cracked pieces. The front piece should be of the same material or quality as the stock itself. I'll have to use black caulk, glue or RTV to prevent further deterioration on the front piece.

The stock itself is amazingly well made and smartly designed. It's better designed than my Magpul PTS "PRS-Styled" stock. The included recoil pad on it is stout enough for even centerfire short action caliber rifles. The Length-of-Pull and Cheek Riser adjustments are very positive, tactile and well built. I was pleasantly surprised.

The FDE portion of the stock is of High Grade and Quality. The polymer or plastic front piece of the stock is amongst the worst I have encountered. A cheap plastic cafeteria spoon vs. a teething child would fair better than the material for front piece. Reinforce it before installing. My piece may have just been dry rotten. I love everything else about the stock. I'll possibly buy 2 more. If the front portion is improved - I'll definitely buy 2-3 more.

"One correction to my review of this stock, the bar I cut does support the butt pad when you extend it out, after cutting the bar will be too short to extend the stock fully. This is not a problem for me as I would much rather have the increase in battery space then the extended stock.

"This is a great addition to your DMR. It is solidly built and much cheaper than the Magpull stock of similar design. But it does have a few issues, You must use a buffer tube to mount this stock, it uses a set screw to hold it to the tube, the screw is long enough to go down into the first lock hole on an ICS buffer tube. The set screw holds the stock firmly. On other manufacturers buffer tubes the set screw will protrude out of the bottom of the stock which can snag your hand or glove, but in newer releases ICS has provided two set screws of different lengths, so just use the shorter screw. The major issue is metal bar on the top of the rear stock cover, when you put the cover back on, this bar protrudes into the battery compartment, making the battery space even smaller (this cost me a brand new lipo battery as the bar hit the cells and shorted it out). The only purpose this bar serves is to give threads for the screws that hold on the but pad to bite into. My solution to this was to cut the bar using a Dremel tool and cut off wheel. I marked the bar where it came out of the plastic, held it in a vice and cut to the mark. This in no way affects the locking of the but plate and gave me an extra 5/8" in the battery compartment.
