"These are probably the best reusable grenades on the market! In games l put bio degradable bbs in the case and it flings bbs in the whole room or out door with in a 10m radius.
Pros
Easy to throw
3 second fuse
Reusable
Sound or fragment grenade
Most fields allow them in and outdoor
No smoke or pyrotechnics
Cons
Trying to find it in fields
In close proximity it's very loud
Some people will take the core

To prevent theft l have painted my core florescent orange, with my initials in the core. I have 4 cores, and had them for about 4 years now and love these grenades!!!
Recently l have put chalk in with the bbs highly recommend if playing with cheaters!!

"These are truly amazing, I bought these because the reviews were good and I wanted to start using grenades. Me and my best friend got together and started using them, it took a while to figure them out but they were a blast when we figured it out. My only complaint is not having instructions so you have to go on YouTube and search, luckily evikes channel had a video on how to use them so it was easy. 10/00 would recommend

"They’re loud, they’re fun, they’re effective. Hold the spoon down, pull the pin, release spoon, chuck. BANG.

Some takeaways from my first day of gameplay:

- Keep track of where you’re throwing these. They fling themselves when they pop. I tend to grab them as soon as I’ve cleared the area.

- Most people love them! I had multiple people come up to me both in and after games with fist bumps and questions about these.

- The fuse seems like a pretty consistent 3 seconds

- Indoor, these are SERIOUSLY loud. They make me jump when other people use them across the field. Up close they’ll make your ears ring. For a while.

- I use 5.11 flex flash pouches. They hold them perfectly.

- I’ve been filling them with 3-5 pumps of a pistol mag style speed loader. There’s room for way more inside but I haven’t done much testing as far as dispersal.

- Make SURE you hold down the spoon unless you’re ready to throw. I had one go if in my hand when I fumbled the pin with my gloves. It was unpleasant to say the least.

- The above accident cracked the shell inside the threads at the top of the core. It’s pretty well stuck in there and as of tonight I’ve haven’t figured a way to get it out. I essentially have a useless core until I can get it out. ** This is obviously user error but annoying nonetheless.

"I don't think you can beat these in terms of features, safety, price, and reliability. It really checks all the boxes.

I've thrown about 20 of these. Got multiple kills with most of them. Only one of them failed (leaked, I think it was a messed up thread). And they are just really cool.

"These are great.
Get the right shells, they aren't all the same.

"Great product for the price. Overall satisfying, I would definitely recommend these.

A couple of notes:

1. The shell must be tightened to the core very well to ensure the CO2 does not escape the shell, essentially creating a dud on the field (not a fun feeling). If you feel you have overtightened it, then you probably have it where it needs to be.

2. Fill to the same place every time. Recommended 140 BBs works great , but I use 200-220 BBs, which still gives about 3 seconds to detonation. Filling consistently ensures that you get comfortable with the time it takes the grenade to detonate without any mishaps. If shell is filled halfway or more, you will have to throw the grenade VERY fast to avoid self tags on the field.

3. For best effectiveness, ensure the white seam is either facing the ground or the sky after it is thrown. To do this, just tighten the shell and core so that when you rest the whole grenade on its side the seam will only face up or down (alternately, just make the seam and the spoon form a 90 degree angle to each other). Any other position will yield inconsistent or disappointing results.

"OK...first...

These things are great. Quality is way better now than it was a few years ago.

Now...be careful how you purchase these because even though Evike shows a discounted price for buying 12 shells plus a core for $28 reduced from $36 you can buy them individually for $26!!! The core's regular price is $20 and 12 Thunder Devils shells are $16.

Not really sure what Evike is thinking on this one.

"These dont fire super quickly like everyone says they do. Thats because people put waaay to many BB's in them. I keep seeing reviews that say "filled it half way and it almost exploded in my hand". 150 BBS is recommended and when you do this you get a good 3-4 second fuse. Pack the thing half way (alot more than 150) if you want a 1-2 second fuse. Anyways these are pretty much the best reusable BB throwing grenade out there. Super reliable and effective.

"PLEASE READ!

First off, these are great in the sense that they detonate consistently, and they also expel bbs consistently. Of course this is exactly what this shell was made for so I wouldn’t expect anything less. The only issue I have with these is that they detonate FAST, and by fast I mean fast. We tested them at my local field and we were averaging 1-1.5 seconds. That’s insane compared to the traditional Thunder B shell which usually takes around 4-5 seconds. This is caused by the smaller shell size, and I cannot stress enough how much you need to understand this before buying these. You may think 1.5 seconds is plenty of time, and it is for CQB, but in the field? Forget it. The first time I used one of these I nearly friendly fired my entire team because it detonated mid air. These are good for clearing rooms, or being tossed through windows that’s your covered on. As for open field throws, I’d steer clear of these otherwise you risk killing your self and your team depending on what your fields kill radius for grenades is (mines 20 feet, and it’s a struggle to get these 20 feet away in open field before it detonates.) Overall these are great, just understand that the fuse time is like a fourth of what you’re probably used to with Hakotsu. I just wish Evike posted the average detonation time.

"I like them and they are loud even out in the open, however the shells that come with these blow quick like 1 1/2 seconds maybe 2 seconds constantly! So please please please DO NOT COOK THESE! The thunder B shells take around 4 to 5 seconds consistently, or mine does anyway. I would use these in a situation where you do not have to throw these a ways away as it will go off quickly. Other than that they are amazing and I love them I highly recommend them.

"Smaller form factor than the Flashbang style shells
More reliable detonation than either the flashbang or larger cylinder style (mileage may very)

"I have used the core over and over and over again, several times in battle and it has never failed me. Metal spoon, loud af, and comfortable to hold. Easy to reload on the go.

The best and first purchase I've ever made when it comes to airsoft grenades. Make sure you only use the Hakkotsu cores. Extremely reliable. I haven't had a single issue yet!

"After much research on the perfect bb warrior grenade, I ordered the 12 shells with core, all came in one giant plastic package.

There were no paper instructions included in the box. This wasn't an issue, as APS has a YouTube video that is step-by-step. (go to youtube, search "Thunder Devil APS", watch the instructional video).

I have several types of airsoft grenades (EG67, Cyclone, T238 Nerf, Thunder Bs), and this is by far the best in my opinion:

+Very Loud (cuts down on not called hits, "i didn't know you threw one")
+Huge BB Payload dispersal (all bbs fly far and fast )
+Value (get 12 grenades plus core and co2 for $40)
+Reusable (as in the core, the co2 and shell and bbs are lost on payload deployment).
+FAST (3 seconds from spoon popping to booming)
++++BONUS: comfortably fits in 40mm pouches. AS IN PERFECTLY, as if they were designed that way. Good job APS! the only grenade I've used that I consider "worth it".

My 2 cyclones rarely go off (dirt too soft, hammer didn't strike, etc). EG67s are awesome and disposable but way too expensive over time. T238 is pretty neat but a bit of a dud, no sound and bbs barely travel a few feet.

Hands down: you want a grenade that LOUDLY announces its presence and spews hate all over the field for a few dollars a throw, this is IT!
