"The gun itself is great but the mag it came with has a piece behind the spring that broke and now my slide doesn't lock back I managed to get 4 full mags out of it before it broke its just a bummer that it did and now I'm worried about my other mag doing the same thing

"I write this review having owned several different 1911 style airsoft pistols...The gun is not...bad exactly, but has some disappointing aspects for its price at least for me. (this is for Custom II/CO2)...I received the 1911 with a missing screw on the right side handgrip...already off to a bad start, i looked everywhere in the box and bag it came in, even on the floor just in case it was loose and fell off (not that that's really better). But it was just not there...grip is still secure with the one screw however and the beveled magwell helps secure it further...Speaking of, i hadn't thought of this when i bought it, but...I didn't want the extended magwell but it was obviously removeable so i bought it anyways...however it took half an hour of hammering a small hex wrench into the pin to get it out...which is WAY to much only to realize that the pin wont fit back in without sticking out a quarter inch on each end without the magwell on it, and they do not provide an smaller pin in the box...the blowback is hardly the strongest I've ever felt but that only good/bad depending on you POV...its not bad...just...not impressive...The front and rear sights are not painted or colored in any way, so sighting in is somewhat lackluster, again I could have seen that by the pictures if i looked that closely, but for a $140 pistol with a "speedshooter" style magwell I find it odd that they exclude this....Finally I found that the slide was very "grindy" on arrival...felt dry...nothing some lube cant fix but still worth mentioning and the slide lock was BARELY catching the slide on a normal rack...if you slammed it hard it would catch a bit better but a normal rack would barely catch it and sometimes not catch at all if you did it fast...The gun did shoot pretty well however and was as accurate as i would expect and the feel was pretty decent...no major complaints on performance, mostly QA and some odd choices...my opinion is its not worth the $140 base price, or even the $120 sale price i bought it at...its not a bad gun, i just think there are better made 1911s out there for the same or lower price...maybe don't look as unique in the 1911 world, but i'll take better made over "cooler" any day.
