"Works surprisingly well for the price, great to throw into a loaner gun etc.

"This is ridiculously easy to install. You don't even need to open the gearbox shell to get it working, just some soldering and electrical know-how and you're off to the races.

Threw this in my CM048 CYMA AK74 and was astounded to see how much my trigger response improved. It also has an LED for troubleshooting, such as bad motor terminals, battery voltage, and otherwise faulty electronics.

Easily would recommend

"Great mosfet. Price is decent, has all the basic features you need for a basic mosfet and the LED is quite a good addition. I use this on my LCT ASVAL, and it really was handy when I was hella exhausted after a MSW and cut the wires with the suppressor after the event. That's quite a design flaw on LCTs part to leave those wires exposed like that, if you own one you know. But the mosfet cut the current so no short circuit, saving my gun and battery. So I got a second one for my Arcturus AK12, since it is also tuned for a microswitch. Very nice product, just beware that the one on Evike comes with the mosfet only, inside an anti-static bag. The other unit I got locally and came in a nice box, with manual, spade connectors, 22awg wire, heatshrinks, etc... ie everything needed to install. And they were both the same price. So just be aware this is the case with the "OEM" model. Hence why I knocked a star off on this specific review, because there is a more complete package of the same product out there. Thankfully was able to use the leftovers from the older box for this, just barely.

"Be aware, this does not come with a signal wire or any spade connectors (you'll need three). You can use pretty much any wire, I used a 20 gauge wire from my local hobby shop. The spade connectors are the same size as standard AEG motor contact, so I used some Lonex ones that I had laying around.

Install was very easy on a V3 gearbox. The only thing I had to solder was the signal wire to one of the trigger contacts, and both of the trigger contact wires to the same contact. After that, I just crimped the spade connectors on and plugged everything in. It works just fine, seems to improve my trigger response marginally. I'm using SHS 16:1 gears and an Action Army 30k short motor.

Worth the $20? Sure. Would I put it in the rest of my guns? Not until this thing makes it through an MSW. I want to make sure it'll hold up. It seems to be working just fine, but only time will tell.

4/5 stars because the description doesn't say that it doesn't come with the connectors or the signal wire.
