"Oh. my. goodness. This weapons is a MUST for starting Airsoft and Professional Airsofters alike. The handling is fantastic, the Iron Sights are clear, the accuracy is marvelous and if you get the M203 Grenade Launcher with it: You get a free attachment with the gun! Imo, you should change the spring from 400 fps to 350 fps for indoor pay. Overall, this may be one of my favorite Airsoft AEG Rifles on the market and I would highly recommend it.

"Ive had this for over a year and it was originally purchased to be a backup to my M4 GBBR. However, after seeing the impressive performance for the price, I wanted to continue to use it more when I didn’t feel like using a GBBR or when the weather was too cold. I’ve upgraded since the initial purpose. I got the following budget-friendly options:
Matrix Ported Cylinder
Matrix CNC Aluminum Cylinder Head
Matrix CNC Aluminum Nozzle (o-ring)
SHS CNC Aluminum Piston Head
Maple Leaf 60 degree Super Hop Bucking
Maple Leaf Concave Nub
Unicorn 6.03mm, 370mm Tightbore Barrel
ZCI High Torque Motor
Systema M120 Spring
With the above upgrades and a perfect shim job, the gun sounds amazing and has an extremely fast trigger response. You’ll get 1.44J with .3g BBs. Accuracy is phenomenal and the range is great. I’ve also let this be a loaner for people at the field I play at (we have a small community of players). They are very impressed with it. You can slap a 4x ACOG on this, if you want, and each shot (when sighted in properly) will follow the vertical black line perfectly until it hits the crosshairs. The body, although plastic, is made of a pretty good quality polymer and I don’t fear it breaking. The stock is meh and works, but I suggest getting a better quality one at some point after you do your upgrades.
TL;DR
If you’re hesitant on getting this because of the polymer body and low price, don’t let that worry you. This sucker is great and I highly recommend this as a primary or backup.

"Great gun, have had for over a year. Is lipo ready, and can handle 11.1 V LIPO batteries. thats what i used. I switched over to a 7.4 v lipo because my previous battery died. 11.1 V makes it fire a lot faster. But it also wears down your gun faster. This is a great gun if you want to "sup it up" I swapped the M4 barrel for an alluminum keymod rail. And I put a red dot sight on it, and hoping to do some internal upgrades soon. Shoots far and accurate. Very solid metal gun.

"Amazing gun, i would recommend buying a strong battery because the gun can handle it since it is lip ready. very heavy and sturdy.

"I bought this gun in 2019 for my first starter airsoft gun and it still amazes me on how well it preforms 4 years later

"Got the URX Carbine 12”, thing is stellar right out of the box!
I just started playing outdoor for recreation and it performs so well!
Pros:
Accurate and precise from roughly 200ft with hopup tweaking
Very easy-to-use hopup
Good trigger response
Solid power
Sturdy/durable material made in Japan
Iron sights are dead on(but I will be getting a reflex)
Cons:
(Personal preference) wobbly stock when fully extended, but that’s most stock plastic crane stocks
It’s not too bad, but dimensions are not what they say they are in the specs. Definitely shorter, but the inner barrel is the right size
Not much info in the manual but no other problems with gun itself’
Awesome beginner setup for sure! Used 9.6v NiMh but getting 11.1v lipo to get a comparison.
11/10!

"This is the best gun you can get for this price point. I used this as the base for my backup AEG. Gearbox is solid.
Things to note:
The one I received came rear wired though stated it would be front wired, this ended up being better for me anyways. The buffer tube is polymer so I ended up swapping out for a stubby stock for extra battery space. The hop up unit is a rotary, though feels pretty cheaply made so I threw in one I had lying around.
Overall very solid I would just recommend swapping out the buffer tube for a metal one or getting a fixed stock and upgrading the hop up unit. For this price you are getting a very solid base gun and can throw in a couple parts while still keeping your build very cost effective.

"This is a real good deal, it has an amazing gearbox. I bought one and basically used it for a custom build. It has a good hop up unit. The receiver is OK, a little thin but works just fine. I would by this for a starter gun and can always upgrade. works with 11.1v lipo as well. it has a good RPS

"I received this rifle (specifically the 8" Stubby version) as a Christmas gift and it is nothing short of the definitive best beginner rifle ever. Here's why:
The rifle comes standard with an in-line MOSFET which means it can run 11.1v lipos well with a decent rof and trigger response. I've been running a Matrix 11.1v 1500mAh butterfly style battery in this since I got it and it really has been a pleasure to use. It can compete with other higher end guns fairly well like the ARP9. It's easy to maintain, clean and put back together solidly. The hopup feeds well with most magazines. I use Bluebox 140rd midcaps and they feed down to the last bb in the magazine reliably. I have been told that my gun sounds like it's shimmed perfectly. I haven't taken apart the gearbox to see if there even are shims but it does sound really crisp for a sub $200 AEG.
But every gun has its flaws. Range is not it's strong point and needs a tightbore inner barrel to boost that. FPS is pretty damn high at about 390 FPS with a .2g bb on an 11.1v battery. That means it may not be CQB legal in most states in America. The polymer body feels okay but I'd recommend switching out your stock because it will wobble a lot and makes quite a lot of sound.
Whether you're a field owner looking for a nice rental gun, a beginner looking into their first rifle or an experienced technician looking for a good platform to convert to a HPA or DSG monster, this is all I can recommend. Do yourself a favor and buy any one of these rifles. They're amazing for the money you pay and they last a while if you maintain them!
9.6/10, would absolutely recommend!

"I’ve bought 6 of these rifles so far, and plan to buy many more in the coming days. Here’s why:
Pros:
- Solid externals (superior to competing brand for half the cost)
- Microswitch Mosfet (spammable)
- Comes with hard to acquire stubby stock (lots of battery space and looks awesome)
- Lightweight
- Cheap (cheaper when on sale)
- Shot 350 fps @ 22 RPS on 11.1v 30c LiPo
Cons:
- Mosfet burns out quickly if spammed a lot
- Propriety gearbox/parts
For the price, it’s worth $140 to have a gun that outperforms the ARP9 and Calico Jack out of the box. Makes a great base gun for upgraded builds as well.
10/10 will buy again

"Probably the best entree level m4 I’ve ever had it’s smooth to fire, and tough if dropped. I would highly recommend this m4 platform.

"For the price this gun is pretty good. My son has been using it for 4 months now and he has no complaints. It's not that much more in price than the sub $100 guns but it feels a whole lot better.

"I used the base of this gun to put a polarstar jack into and 10/10 is amazing and I’ve had it for 3 years

"I've been using this rifle for about 3 months now , I've crawled through sand , mud , and dirt with it , it's been dropped a few times , not even a scratch, I live in humid conditions , so after a months of going outside daily and target practicing , the dust cover rusted , but that's a cheap fix that shouldn't stop you from buying this rifle , it is a God tier M4 for beginners to intermediate players . It is the prime jewel of my collection . Don't hesitate to buy this rifle if you see it on discount.
