CYMA Sport Full Size AK47 Beta Spetsnaz Airsoft AEG

"So far I am in love with this AK-47. The build is light but sturdy and it hits hard! The magazine is nice and a single point sling attaches well to the metal sling point towards the rear.

Action is clean, it sounds awesome and it comes at an entry-level price point. (Anything that doesn't have a metal gearbox isn't entry level in my opinion, so I made sure this one did before getting it)
I can confirm that this gun takes 8.4v batteries, and I'm pretty sure it would take 9.6v no problem.

I knew Cyma was a longstanding brand before I bought, and they definitely deserve the good name they hold. I would definitely buy from them again and I would highly recommend this AK-47 for CQB.

Only complaint would be that the instructions to remove the back weren't easy to follow. You have to remove the back screws, and then (with the gun vertical standing up) pull down (towards the ground) on the black plastic piece that covers the battery compartment. This was puzzling until I realized that the instructions are quite literal.

BTW, the receiver top is not metal, which allowed me to drill holes and mount a top rail and red dot. Now I can actually claim to own a "custom" version of this gun. (Of course, that probably affects the warranty, but I was cool with that)

"This is the rifle I received instead of the CM521C. They grabbed this one by accident, the one I was going to get was the one with the RIS handguard and adjustable collapsing M4 stock, but eh, it's fine. I can get a RIS and M4 buffer tube adapter, or complained and got it swapped out.

Now, aside from that, this is a very nice Krinkov. Beautiful thing honestly.

It came with a sling, cute little tiny 7.62x39R looking mag, and the gun. Rear sights flip down like an M4 carry handle sight but are open instead of aperture sights. Dust cover opens but battery is housed in the fixed stock. Bottom rail on handguard is alright. Fit a grip on it and it was comfortable but I ended up taking off the handguards and wrapping the included sling around the gas block and barrel.

The stock is a comfortable shoulder brace and cheek rest. Sling points are sturdy enough. Sights are clean but filing it to make the sight picture wider does not hurt. I broke off the front sight's protectors (the curvy things) and painted the tippity top of the front sight post white and one of the rear sights light blue. Took off the giant flash hider (forgot how big they are, my goodness!) with vice grips and brute force. No set grub screw, just glue. 14mm CCW threading! Awesome! Put a bird cage flash hider on it. The inner barrel sticks out though, looks dumb but uh, I for some reason like the look of protruding inner barrels. Makes it harder to mistake the thing for a real firearm. Easier to damage though.

Stock does not fit stick batteries. Remember, I was getting the RIS handguard and LE stock one so I was expecting to fit a stick battery in the dust cover. Fits brick and butterfly batteries.

Range with hop up off is 60 something feet. I could get close to 130 feet with hop up adjusted. So you can double your range with proper adjustment.

Charging handle is alright. No blowback at this price point. No AK scope mount.

PROS:

- Compact for CQB.
- CCW 14mm threading.
- Fixed stock fits most batteries.
- Good range.
- Mag shortness is good for going prone.
- Very welcoming price point, $79 on epic deals sometimes.

CONS:

- Dust cover is a pain to put back on as usual.
- No RIS. Just that bottom rail that is only good for foregrips.
- Motor smells like it's burning on constant full auto. Shimming and motor height adjustment needed.
- Mostly plastic construction. Metal gearbox and barrel, that's it. Price point is what you paid for though.

- The mags I got for it, Matrix/Cyma 600 round mags, work awesome.
