" Cant attest to quality out of the box, cause my friend gave me one, but if you like small knives pick this bad boy up. I use it while camping and wood carving, had it 7 months and only needed to sharpen twice(will probably vary depending on use. If you keep your edge maintained it should cut nylon with relative easy.
