Features Extremely lightweight and compact design Dual solenoid design allows for open and closed bolt firing F2 FCU with LCD allows for easy tuning Spring loaded nozzle provides consistent loading force Lightweight one piece poppet valve can operate at lower pressures Easily adjustable FPS can be used for both CQB and field use without having to change nozzles F2 is essentially a Mini Fusion Engine. It offers the same adjustability and performance as the Fusion Engine in a cylinder sized package.
Patented Dual Solenoid Design: The dual solenoid design of the F2 provides the same functionality as the legendary Fusion Engine but in a more compact, efficient and flexible design. Dual solenoids allow for the nozzle and the poppet valve to be adjusted independently of each other for unparalleled control over both the loading time and air volume used. Additionally, this makes it possible to change the firing sequence giving it the ability to operate in both true closed bolt as well as "AEG" mode.
Increased Efficiency: The F2 incorporates a new one-piece, lightweight poppet valve design yet still operates on the same principle as the Fusion Engine poppet. This valve is able to operate at lower pressures and uses less air volume to function which optimizes air efficiency.
Spring Loaded Nozzle: The F2 nozzle is spring biased forward which provides a consistent loading force regardless of operating pressure. It shares the same spring as the Fusion Engine with both light and heavy spring options available to adjust the loading force.
The robust design of the F2 allows for an operating pressure range of 45psi to 145psi which enables it to achieve velocities from CQB to DMR while employing only one nozzle for the entire velocity adjustment range.
Operating Pressure 45 - 145psi
Velocity Ranges: 205fps - 500fps
Length: 4"
Compatibility: G&G SR25 gearboxes
Material: Aluminum alloy
Manufacturer: PolarStar Airsoft
About PolarStar PolarStar Precision Airsoft was formed in January 2009 to fill a need for high quality, precision manufactured airsoft components designed for performance and longevity. The 2011 release of the patented Fusion Engine HPA system marked a change in direction for PolarStar. The focus shifted from developing upgrade components within the constraints of existing systems to developing innovative HPA systems and accessories which replace the aging AEG technology.PolarStar Airsoft is a division of PolarStar Engineering & Machine (PSE&M), a unique blend of tenured American toolmakers and a full service CAE/CAD/CAM (Computer Aided Engineering, Design, and Manufacturing), special crafts machine shop keeping alive our proud manufacturing heritage of Made in the USA. Founded in 1997, PSE&M began by servicing the automotive racing industry through the design and producing systems and components from art to part. Operating under the auspices of the Delaware Association of Professional Engineers, we retain a Professional Engineer (P.E.) on staff to ensure and certify all design and engineering standards are met. In addition to our own product line, PolarStar also offers engineering and manufacturing services tailored to the airsoft industry.

" I've had this for a couple months now and I love this engine. It's in my lvoa and it shoots so constantly also far. I really recommend this if you can get it
" This engine is good, but I wouldn't entirely recommend it.
Pros
Efficient (Kythera is best)
Easy to use
Can be very consistent
Polarstar has awesome customer support
Closed bolt(better accuracy and trigger response)
Reduces gun weight
Enables you to use a plastic gearbox
Cons
Really expensive
Picky with buckings
Kills batteries if left plugged in
FCU connectors needed major modifications to not snap
Pretty loud
Two solenoids to break instead of one
This engine is better than the Fusion Engine since fitment and cost are better, and it doesn't need to have a QEV banjo fitting or the Amped poppet and nozzle to be efficient.
It also doesn't have all sorts of sear nonsense and semi only silliness like the Kythera, and is probably the best engine for most stuff.
That being said, I would still consider the Jack, Inferno, and Fusion Engine for other stuff, but the F2 seemed to be my best option.
" I wanted to get into the HPA world when I saw the performance that was out there for this sport. I started off by getting a wolverine inferno, and I had issues from the start. I saw that wolverine had a closed bolt systems and got my hands on the premium edition. Once again I was extremely disappointed in the performance. Customer support at wolverine didn't really have any solid advice and I was about to give up all hope.
Until Polarstar released the amazing F2! My team tech was the first to switch completely from wolverine and got his F2 first. When he put it in his Krytac PDW and I saw that he was shooting over 250ft with .36g BBs, I was sold. My whole team quickly ripped out the wolverines and put an F2 in all our primaries. I have had zero issues with the FCU or engine. I love how on the FCU I can quickly make adjustments if needed. But out of the box this thing would go through anything and keep trucking.
Sometime during my first year of game play my FCU digital read out busted. Most likely because I kept everything in the pistol grip of the M4. I had purchased another used F2 that needed some work done on it and was going to throw it in another gun. I called Polarstar to see about sending in my broken FCU and the 2nd F2. Mr. Rambo let me know he was going to be at the Ballahack Polarstar event that weekend, and I was also going to be there. I brought everything to him, he took a look at it, and fixed it right there that day! Wow the customer support! I will always run Polarstar from now on!
Thank you Polarstar for making a great product and giving great customer support. I am now running BLS .43g BBs at 400FPS making shots in tight grouping at 300ft. Barrel is r-hopped, lapped, maxx hopup unit, modify bucking. mags are PTS EPM with upgraded followers. MRS regulator. Krytac CRB shell and gearbox. Titan Lithium-ion battery.
