"My absolute favorite GBBR ever just got it yesterday and its beautiful ever little detail is so nice. The gun is lightweight and feels expensive. You definitely get what you pay for when it comes to this gun.
Pros
- Lightweight
- Full Metal Construction
- Amazing Paint Job
- No wobble anywhere but the stock but that like normal
- Very nice hard recoil
- Nice deep Colt Engravings
Cons
- The Price of the gun and magazines (But it's worth it trust)

"The US Army, for some reason, wouldn't let me keep the M4 they had me sign for in Iraq or Afghanistan so after I got back from the sand I thought I would get something to remember the fun. I tell ya, its close enough to the one I carried that it would get you into trouble. In fact the tolerances are a lot tighter than the good enough for military contract rifle that I carried -every - bloody - day -. UGH the sand and dust. Bought one of those Chinese ACOGS for the top and clipped my nasty, sweaty old sling on it . Function- shoots well and relatively accurate with heavy bb's from 20meters. "I own both the 2019 and 2022 version. They nailed it with the newest one. Everything is just more refined. Fit and finish, coating, engraving, even the upper receiver texture is different and authentic. Paint thickness is just right, engravings are sharper and deep; the 2019 engraving was bad. The 2022 rectified all of that, quality control seems much better. Rails are aligned perfectly, as opposed to my 2019 one. One way to tell yours is the newest version is the serial number, which should be W300326. Parts are really tight, especially the bolt, so some lubing and breaking in / shooting would be needed.

"I have had the gun for a few months now and it has not let me down at all. The gun build is very high quality and it looks very nice. I haven't had any problems with it so far and even when using green gas in freezing temperatures it functioned perfectly fine even on full auto.
Pros -
High-Quality build
Nice kick
Easily upgradable
Great gas usage (3 full magazines worth of bbs on 1 gas fill)
Cons -
Didn't come with a replacement metal flash hider
To get to the hop-up you have to remove the bottom rail and it can get tedious
Overall the gun is very fun and well worth the price tag on it.

"Got this in a DAY before the mk18 version came to evike but i must say this rifle is so fun to play with. apart from the accuracy not being the best its perfect. When i first unpackaged it the rifle was very stiff. Like, Everything was stiff. Almost to the point that i couldn't put the mag in until i lubricated the mag and magwell. Mine also didn't come in the nice, stanard colt v2 black box with the rifle on it it instead came in a large blue box with "Colt" on it. not a con just being picky. Definately worth the price.

"Nice rifle, nice build, full metal part make me addictive, the parts are little tight, some silicone oil will make it perfect. This rifle will never let u down, if you like it just buy it, definitely worth it

"Aight, I’m going to keep it short and sweet. This gun, and it’s magazine, are one of the most solid pieces of plastic slinging machines I’ve ever felt. An absolute unit. I haven’t had the opportunity to take it out to a game yet, because these magazines are really. frickin. expensive. Beyond that, the felt recoil is nice, the action is smooth, and the trades look phenomenal. My two gripes here are the mag price(as previously said) and the lack of parts to individualize and customize your $600 piece of work. That’s all.

"Well, there's probably not much more I can tell you about GHK M4s since there have been many established reviews. However this very specific batch as of 2019 is different. You can easily tell if your serial number starts with an W (2019 batch) or K (2018 batch)
Good:
– Improved hard anodized matte finish, as oppose to the horrible thick shiny black coat of the 2018 batch. This new finish is thinner, but stronger and scratch resistant, simply spot on. Very nice looking indeed.
– Improved bolt catch and stronger metal insert on the bolt to ensure lock back.
– Insane gas efficiency, 1 fill will give you 3 - 4 mags.
– Comes with original bird cage flashhider and Colt engraved magazine base plate. Authentic!
– Markings are second to none, I especially love the stamped markings on the barrel. Well done.
Left to be desired:
– Quite weak spring, you'll notice when you pull the charging handle back and let it slam forward. But gladly, the gun recoil is not weak. I guess they did this to prolong the life of the parts. Aftermarket springs and heavier bolts are everywhere, so that's fine.
– Classic LE stock wobble, even the real steel has this issue, so no biggie. Easy fix with some tape around the inside. I guess it's authentic...
– Do yourself a favor and swap out for a better, nicer looking rear sight.
– Mine came with a misaligned rail... quite disappointing for a $550 gun. Caused by a chip. I'm asking for a replacement part.
