"If the metal outer barrel isn't installed it has a little wobble but once it's in there it's solid feels better than the stock handguard

"This handguard works great on my elite force competition kit mp5. In order to use the metal barrel you can either rewire to a rear wire style or you can cut your wire in the front and re-solder it on after putting your cut wire through a small hole in the base of the metal barrel.

"Works perfectly for the Elite Force Competition Kit MP5. Makes the gun feel way more sturdy too.

"I recently purchased this for my umarex mp5 competition kit. It installs easily but in order to use the metal barrel included, you have to rewire to the rear. Without the metal barrel installed it still works great with very very very minimal play. Provides better battery storage compared to the original handguard. All in all no regrets in the purchase.

"Great quality and affordable. But be warned, it will NOT fit the VFC Mp5 without modification. I had to clip the interior tabs and dremel the front in order to insert the front pin properly. Once installed it felt good and solid, holds the vertical grip and weapon light well enough.

"The metal outer barrel won’t fit if your mp5 is wired to the front. Unless you’re willing to rewrite to the rear or you’re any good at soldering. Other than than that that hand guard still fits. With a little play.
