"This gun is awesome, I am new to the gbb world and this is my first gun. When I bought the rifle the price scared me because it was so low; I went ahead and bought it and I am so glad I did. I got two kills in 3 shots from 40-50ft away without messing with the hop-up. I will however say that the magazine is a bit finicky and if you use all the gas then the release valve will stay in the open position and then you must pull it back with pliers while filling it with gas.

"I got this for my dad for fathers day cuz its like the one that he used when he was in the army everything is good but the only thing that's bad is it has matrix on the lower receiver

"I can’t lie, after getting this rifle I have been very impressed. I got the M4A1 model and the internals shoot very good from what I can tell, and the first couple of fills of a mag are able to get you atleast 40 shots at full auto.
If you noticed I said first couple, it’s because these mags are not the best. They dont look bad, but after the first 60 or so shots it started leaking a bit and then started to leak more and more. These feedlips also suck, and it hurts to try to push a BB in since they don’t have speed loaders included.
Back to the gun: It shoots very well from what I can see, and has decent range as well. I don’t know if that’s the case for all, but mine does. A few problems I have noticed are small ones though, for example, if you push the magazine release in to far, it will get stuck on the lower, and the takedown pin has popped out a couple of times. Other than that, this rifle is decent and exceptionally good for the price.

"I’m here reviewing this because this is beyond my expectations, I’ve seen i couple a reviews maybe not on this one.A couple of ppl had their mags leaking so if this is your first time this is what I think you should do. 1. Makes sure the disk is pressed down to reset the gas release valve and 2. Straight out of the box lube up the magazine with silicone spray and the internals of the rifle 3. It could just be my opinion but don’t over fill your mag, too much pressure is just not good overall if you want this to last long and same thing goes for dry fire and rapid fire. 5 seconds hold and you are good. It is a 50 round mag but to keep it real I only hold in 20 or 30.
Now about the rifle is absolutely amazing the blowback is good the full auto is not bad but it is for sure fun, throws sum optics and a peq 15 and it’ll look killer, their is a s&t m4 nozzle replacement incase you crack the other one but just be careful , sure you won’t need it but it’s good to be laying

Ok this gun shoot nice and sound nice, if you want it to look cooler put fake suppressor on it, *tsh* since it matches the sound. Had to drill and really twist the crap out of the orangle muzzle flash hider 🤬also wealized left is tighty, right is loosey, and love the sound when you bolt press, sounds real. (Like two chains pulled opposite directions) 🔗
It also has nice little kick, real rifles dont have much kick so theyre both almost the same
Alot of people talk about leaks, I havent really had what they had, but make sure not to put gas and hold it without taking it off be ause the mag will freeze and leak everywhere. Instead just press it for like 1 or 2 second at a time...
Only bad thing is mags are kind of 💸💸
ALSO GET GBB SPEEDLOADERS THIS GUN ANNOYING TO LOAD WITH HANDS!!
This gun is good for beginners LIKE ME, and pretty realistic for 210 bucks, i used SUMMER2023 code so it went to 187.

"Keeping expectations realistic, it is probably the cheapest GBBR in the price you can get and performs amazingly for the price. Metal parts are :steel bolt release, and pins, the rest is probably pot metal. Mag includes a dryfire mode by sliding the metal pin, Gas refills when empty requires you to press down the big tab with a circular disk, or else it will leak. The worst issue is the handguard and delta ring pressure as the bottom half of the foregrip will wobble. You can definitely field this, but it's a strange target audience that is too cheap to afford a full metal GBBR who will run into the same issues with buying more gas mags as 3 alone can be more than the gun.

"So I was skeptical and shot on a review for awhile; but after having some more expensive GBBRs with worse results this is really a great deal!
I had the M4A1 model; lasted about a year before I really had issues; needed a new nozzle and bolt; simply due to wear but it got it backup and running!
I wish the accuracy was a bit better; also I “lost” two magazines that simply developed leaks and I couldn’t save (past warranty so attempted to fix with RTV silicone) so be prepared to maybe dish out for new mags at some point; but the magazines that have been good from the start have stayed good.
If you don’t want to spend your life on a GBBR, this is the way to go; you can spend $600, but keep in mind all green gas still has the same limitations; I live in the northeast and ever GBBR I have struggles with gas efficiency and cold weather; magazines sell out quick, if you just want to see if GBBRs are for you, start here!

"I bought the "Matrix M4 GBB AR-15 Gas Blowback Airsoft Rifle w/ Reinforced WA System (Model: Slim MLOK 15")" model back in September 2022 when it was on sale, it was my first GBBR (I've had many GBBP - pistols WE Tech) and was nervous that it was so cheap on sale, it is all reinforced Polymer and made in China (not Japan or Taiwan).
It uses the Western Arms Gas System and hence any "WA" compatible Magazine. The Polymer Castings are Top Notch Quality, the Upper and Lower fit VERY Tight, No Wiggle at all, and the great MLOK forearm is Aluminum and fits tight, although the factory installed it a bit crooked which is easy to adjust.
Pros:
- It's a gorgeous Full Length M4A2 rifle, it looks metal, realistic weight and feel.
- Upper and Lower fit Tight, Metal Buffer Tube, Metal Bolt and Charger.
- GBB Mags fit snug, trigger pull is excellent no "step", moderate weight pull.
- 14mm CCW Threaded Barrel Muzzle, minimal free-float barrel movement.
- 380 to 400fps w/.30 BBs, consistent 2" groups at 150ft in S.A. Fire.
- OK Iron sights, good quality "Fat" K Butt Stock", Flat Trigger guard (replace that!)
- "WA" system GBB 50rd Mags are cheaper than WE or T Marui types & never fail +!
Cons:
- Sloppy factory install of MLOK forearm, easy to readjust, though.
- Virtually NO lubrication internally, especially the Bolt which "hung" out of the box.
- Some of the Polymer casting seams are sharp, you'll have to sandpaper them flat.
- Black paint already wearing off Selector and Charger after just 1 month of use.
Summary: I immediately built up mine as a Replica M4 Mk12 DMR use, it's that Accurate and Powerful. I run mine with a 190mm Silencer Can I design and other than the blowback mech sound, you don't hear this GBBR! I've used it on 12 outdoors MilSim Game Plays with Zero problemo's. It also makes a great Infantry Rifle too. This was my first GBBR, and I'll unlikely buy another AEG now unless it's a Machine Gun. I'm already planning on buying one of these JG Works made Golden Eagle /Matrix BGGR in a M4A3 Carbine length now ..... as soon as Evike or someone has them on sale again! (Hint Evike.com)

"THE GUN IS GREAT AND DECENT PRICE FOR GBB STARTERS.
I not new to gas blowbacks it took me a lot of studying and research but nevermind that
The bolt carrier has an orange nozzle i guss that’s what the part is call. I appreciate the build of the bolt carrier but average of 380fps.. mmm I like to go higher.
The gun also had the lower receiver to be polymer hard plastic. It was as if held a pellet gun for a second. The functions are pretty much Western Arm/G&P/GE/Matrix.
So my recent gun, the Daniel Defense Mk18 western arms has a silver steel bolt, with a black nozzle and I gave the buffer tube an upgrade. With that bolt carrier and strong spring and buffer from the Mk18, I can say 410fps with 25g
I switched the upper receivers so now DD/GE/Matrix/WA M4 M-lok is its new name I guess. It was a struggle because of of the pins. Anywho, shot the gun since the mag came in the box with a good amount of gas. I shot it and I believe i increased the fps and range. It was very hard to detect the rounds they shot out to fast. I have a lake behind my back yard and I had no fence I could easily see other neighbors’ houses from a cross I shot in the direction away because the the bb could reach over to hit property. But when I mix the GE with DD The New Model Was SICK!!!
Literally the bb shot and flew up or near direct after that I couldn’t see it no more.
I shot the weapon from inside my house at the back door
And aim the gun across to the other side of the lake.
I tried and tried to see if the bb will hit the water. If it didn’t that would either meant the fps got lower or velocity against wind. But i shot 10 rounds all kept going straight or curving up and i was at 25g. Which tell me that this gun is capable to hit midrange.
The magazine. Many of you can find it very hard to find. But before its too late, search Golden Eagle GBB M4 Magazine.
They are the exact the same as matrix’s magazines. You can find them on other websites, but please be careful.
I bought this gun for the purpose to get an extra mag and to change the railing from 20mm picatinny to M-Lok
Changing the receiver with better parts according to the manufacturer. I unexpectedly increase its power which is awesome and its 2 tone, black and dark earth.
My suggestion to buy for the gun is more mags for sport play, metal lower receiver, a better bolt carrier system, and improved the buffer system. But the its self is great. Very nice built and I planned to treat it with respect and nice accessories and I gave her a name.

"I bought the M16A4!
What a beautiful and well-constructed gun. It is very light as they used a lot of polymers, which is great for my preference of not feeling my arms fall off from a full metal construction. So far it has shot excellent and I would recommend it.
+Shoots close to 400 out of box
+Very nice recoil
+Very nice look and feel
+Great trigger response and reset
+Lots of polymer to keep lightweight
+Quite loud as you'd expect from GBB
+Very low price compared to others
-Magazines are very expensive
-Magazines frequently lose their seal
-GBB is a learning curve for **experienced** players in my opinion
-When disassembling the magazine, there is some plastic loop part that a pin goes through and can break very easily, so the mag can no longer hold a proper seal and you will have to use some heavy one-time sealant/glue to close it as shown in youtube tutorials.
Overall, as a first GBB, I would recommend it, but in my case it's mostly a novelty. I do not use this as my main gun and have only played two game days with it but both performed very well and it was a blast and still works.

"Pretty dope!
I bought this with the intent of running it in CQB, since that's what's near me, but it shot about 380 with .20s, which was a bit too hot for my field.
I tried to find a low-power nozzle or and NPAS system for it, but apparently they don't exist, not even from overseas retailers. I was pretty bummed by this and was planning on taking it to my local shop to trade it in for a different GBBR that actually HAD some parts support, but I changed my mind, since I'm planning on trying some outdoors soon (Apparently there's an outdoor field near me that I didn't know about). I bought the CQB-R variant, so I was a little concerned about being outranged on the outdoor field, since the barrel is short, but it turns out the hop up is great.
Honestly, I would recommend this thing to almost ANYONE, as long as they have an outdoor field near them.

"I'm loving this GBBR, the feel and everything is just amazing.
Pros:
1. Easy disdisassembly
2. Works great out of box
3. Easy hop up(located in the barrel from the inside)
Cons:
1. Mags are don't hold enough green gas
2. Polymer/plastic receiver

"this gun is affordable, good for people who want do gbb first time, felt light and cheap due of polymer but overall its good
