Prometheus Wide Use Rotary Style Hop-up Chamber for M4/M16 Airsoft AEGs (Version: G&G Spec)

"My factory hop-up unit on my Krytac Trident Mk2 (spr) has got a broken part on the factory hop-up so I purchased this unit as a replacement/upgrade. It was very easy to assemble and all the parts fit together very well. As this is the only seperate part to the gun I'm glad to say that it works well with all of the other factory parts. I will still use the stock barrel and bucking as there is no issues and it works great without having to make any modifications at all to the gun.

With a bit of testing I have not noticed any feeding issues with Lancer Tactical high-caps and Krytac mid-caps and it doesn't seem to skip any rounds or struggle to feed, even with an 11.1v on full auto. I also did not notice any jamming, misfires, or bbs sliding out.

The hop-up is easy to asjust, lightweight but definitely sturdy feeling, and a wide range of adjustment. I do wish that they would add a marker or indent signifying the middle of the wheel, I can't tell where I'm set unless I guess. And I'm guessing this is my clumsiness and I lost it but I couldn't find a little black rubber cylinder that pushes down on the bucking when you adjust the hop-up, I was able to solve this issue by scrapping the little orange cylinder from the factory hop-up and it works fine.

For anyone new (like me), with the krytac trident mk2 spr, you will find TWO springs when you slide the barrel and unit out of the upper reciever. One is a thinner and longer spring and one is a shorter thicker one. I had to do a little reaserch to find out where the smaller thicker one goes because it wasn't in any instructions or images for this hopup. Once you install the hopup, put the little metal ring in to keep the barrel straight, slide in the longer thinner spring from the front until it hits the hop-up and slide in the thicker larger one OVER the thinner one until it hits the hopup.

"Better consistency than the krytac hop up. About the same accuracy, range but that's more dependent on your barrel/bucking/nub set up. Wheel is firm and stays in place. Bought because my krytac unit cracked. Feels very strong, the Krytac addition (wheel and clip) is pink btw. Clip is properitary. Fits kosher in my CRB MK1.

"This hop up is amazing. I paired it with a prommy purple bucking and a Laylax precision inner barrel and I'm hitting people well over 150ft away. I currently have it in my G&G ARP9 with the p* F1 and it is preforming better than I could ever expect

"Very quality construction. I feel that this hop up is an improvement over my pro-win hop up I was using. Unlike the pro-win I had zero fitment issues in my Trident SPR. The adjustment wheel is secure without being overly tight and allows for very precise adjustment. For those people wanting a drop in upgrade of the already quite good krytac hop up I recommend this product hands down.

"For the people wondering if this will work in the Aeg Kriss Vector it will, just get the "krytac spec" one and boom, there ya go. One thing I noticed when I got the hopup, unless i just missed something, in the pictures here it shows a big O-ring holding the back rotary part of the hop up to the assembly, I did not get the O-ring so it's kind of useless. I also figured "well since I didn't get one, there may be one of the stock hop up for the vector!" Nope, no O-ring. So be cautious when ordering this

"I bought this an upgrade for my Krytac. The gun is definitely more accurate however it only works with the high cap mag that came with the gun. The mid caps that also came with the gun don’t feed consistently. I have also tried several other brands. ICS high caps don’t work. Lancer high caps do work. I think for the compatibility I will go back to the stock Krytac hopup.

"Perhaps I had a defective barrel clip because my barrel clip does not fit as it should. Everything else is fine but the barrel clip seems poorly designed.
