" I bought one of these for my E&L AKS-74U, and the first thing I noticed about it was how solid and hefty it is. Seriously, this feels like the real deal! Best of all, it worked with my AKS-74U with no issue. Granted, for the E&L version, you'll have to remove the 14mm adapter to get it to fit, but attachment is a snap! Just be careful, it will make your gun pretty front-heavy, but I lift weights, so it's no trouble for me. Also, it didn't seem to affect accuracy or range. Other than that, if you're looking to add that Spetsnaz look to your AKS-74U, definitely go with this!
" Over all I do love this. And it is really nicely threaded with very little play in the threads. However if you want to use a tracer unit save up for the one with the AceTech included. While you could fit one with some modification it won't work out the box. There is a solid tube that holds two ends together, It's fairly larger than the inner barrel so a baffle strike likely won't happen. THIS IS PURELY COSMETIC. Also word of advice for those looking to be realistic the PBS-4 is for the AK74 and other 5.45 AK variants. If you have an AK47, AKM or other 7.62 variants the PBS-1 would be more accurate.
