Dytac MK16 Gamma Style M-LOK Handguard for M4/M16 Series Airsoft AEGs (Color: Dark Earth / 13")

"Outstanding URGI type rail. Well made and a drop-in fit on a TM MWS Gas M4 with the PTS adapter ring. Color is darker than photos portray, closer to the darkest rendition of FDE that we see on the market. I prefer this tone as opposed to the light tan version, so I'm happy with the color. 13.5" long and well machined, with firm, wobble-free fit once torx screws are tightened. Lacks only the "G" trades and hole for QD sling mount, but plenty of space for an m-lok sling mount on the rail. Feels great in the hand, very lightweight. You can see why USASOC adopted these. This is a very nice and much less expensive alternative to overseas URGI rails such as HAO, etc.

"bought this for a urgi build. not a perfect replica of a geissele urgi rail, but an absolutely beautiful replica. it does have torx screws, so make sure you have a sturdy set.
this fits absolutely flawlessly up against virtually any receiver. i've tried it on vfc vr16 and cyma bamf receivers, and this meshes seamlessly with them.
installation is such a joy. with most barrel nuts, it's usually the case that you have to meticulously line the nut up to screw the rail on, but with this, you can screw it down in any orientation and it is absolutely rock solid.
the fit and finish is absolutely beautiful. butter smooth, rock solid. very shimmery bronze-y finish is very clean, PLENTY of mlok slots.
if you're considering this for a urgi build, it's definitely a recommendation. beautiful, beautiful rail. just having it in your hands is an experience. definitely matches vfc-level externals.

Did a 13.7 barrel build inspired by T-Rex Arms.

"Although this is not a 1:1 replica to the Geissele URGI MK14 rail it is pretty damn close minus the QD sling mount, MLOK placement, and a few other minor details. Overall I was impressed with the quality of this rail and it matches perfectly with the 5KU (APS) 10.3 outer barrel and VFC receiver. NOTE: package does not include a torx screw for instillation so I used a flathead. Just be careful using a flathead because the screw is fairly soft and can be stripped easily.

"To start off, this is a great rail system. Absolutely no play, and no twisting (the roll axis) back and forth like screw-on rails.

I've tested all of my outer barrels with this rail, and have no play or movement with any of them. The screw-on nut that gets installed first is very simple to put on (I used some channel-lock pliers), and it doesn't matter if you can't screw it on perfectly straight, as the rail mounting system uses the two grooves that move all the way around the nut let the rail fit on in any orientation. The slide fits over the nut easily and has two tabs that won't let it twist around the receiver, keeping it perfectly vertical. The two Torx screws that hold the rail on are snug to fit and don't have any play.

The only two cons of this rail system that I can find are that the Picatinny rail on the top is pretty sharp along its edges, due to the way that the rail itself was cut. The other flaw is that the rail itself sits about .5mm-1mm lower than the rail on the upper receiver. I've only tested the rail on a Krytac receiver, so I don't know if all are the same.

Overall, an insanely sturdy (the receiver itself will break before the rail does) and great priced rail system. Good Job Dytac!

"It’s a nice rail but didn’t fit my krytac well even after changing the barrel nut to the one that comes with the handguard. When you put it on, it wobbles a lot but I put electric tape around the barrel but and it works fine and hasn’t moved at all since.
