Poseidon PI-013 Super Recoil Spring Set for Gas Blowback Airsoft Rifles

"Great product. Purchased two one for my we mp5 and one for my we g3. The spring and spacer work on the mp5 but the og spring with the kits spacer provided better results. Still worth getting for we mp5s as the semi and 3 rnd burst are alot snappier. The spring doesn't work for the g3 but the spacer provided in the kit does and it noticably makes semi auto alot snappier. Hope this is helpful.

"The stock spring in the MSK is probably my most disliked aspect of it; this product payoff is instant right after installation: The charging and bolt release intensity is phenomenal; while you're not getting one-to-one with the real-steel counterpart, you're getting a helluva lot closer than the stock spring. Gas flow and FPS is more consistent, and I've yet to experience a half-cycle with this spring installed. Out any upgrade for the MSK I've found this is the cheapest and most effective.

"I have to say, definitely worth it! My msk is definitely snappier, and racking that charging handle after installation is all you need to fall in love with this upgrade! I've been using it for a few months, and definitely worth it! May increase stress on internals, so definitely something to consider, but the cycling has definitely been more reliable.

"A must have for your WE MSK. I found the stock recoil spring on the MSK to be a bit weak. Decided to throw the Poseidon P1-013 in, and man, does it make a huge difference. The bolt is significantly snappier, and the gun cycles much harder and faster than before. Full auto is more faster and consistent now. My recommendation is to just install the spring, without the spacer tube. The spring itself makes a huge difference when compared to stock, so I see no need to include the spacer tube as well. My bolt locks back when my mags are empty, and but I do sometimes get a burst when shooting rapidly in semi-auto. Might just be a seemingly typical WE trigger box issue, but I didn’t notice it before installing the new spring.

I haven’t had much play time with it on (got my MSK recently, and it’s COVID at the time of this review), so I can’t speak on long term reliability/ increased internal wear, or on impacted gas efficiency. But again, I highly recommend putting this spring in your MSK. Makes a huge difference in performance, recoil, and overall feel.

"This recoil set single handedly fixed my half cycling issue on my msk masada. The parts are easy to install, and very robust. Had it on my gun for 2 years now and it's practically unscathed. 10/10 must have.

"This actually does work for the AK74u guide rod.

I have two guide rods for the AK74u from WE, mind you one is actually a WELL OEM, but regardless it does work and makes the gun a half-travel. To work with a WE OEM guide rod, you might have to take off the large hex screw front-end or try to get a rod to fit on the back where you would push in to open the dust cover.

Now it's rapid-fire, is it something everyone can do? No but I gotta say it was a nice discovery
