"Works great, goes in as easily as it is normally to do so with the stock parts.
Replaces a lot of crummy pot metal plastic, with nice aluminum pieces. I feel a VERY significant difference in the quality of the MAX kit. Makes the rifle feel a lot more solid and really does stiffen of the entirety of the upper receiver.

"Excellent product however not flawless. The 4 bolts holding the hop unit in place is miles ahead of the standard design. The side panels that replace the OEM are aluminum instead of plastic which again is awesome. There are 2 problems with this product that can be minor or major depending on how good you are with a file or dremel. The front block that sits flush with the reciever under the gas block does not have the scalloped cutouts that the OEM has. You can just pry the reciever slightly apart and jam it in place OR file down either the reciever or part for a correct fit. Second problem is the nut that locks the barrel in the hop-up unit. Depending on how much or how little you torque the nut, one of the edges will snag on the reciever forcing you to again either file down that edge or the receiver. All together this barrel is well worth the money. You halve the weight of the standard parts, and gain the advantage of using a kinetic development handguard. DO NOT forget to lock tight anything with threads! I forgot to lock tight the 3 grub screws holding the hop unit in place so they walked out causing the hop unit with the inner barrel to travel with the bolt.
