Why Mid-Cap Magazines? Mid-Capacity magazines offer stealth operation by eliminating BB rattle often experienced with Hi-Caps. They feed smoother than Hi-Caps due to their high tension internal spring, similar to a real steel magazine. Since 470 round Hi-Capacity magazines don't exist in real life, a good amount of Mil-Sim players prefer Mid-Cap magazines for an even more realistic type of gaming experience.
Due to the design of all Mid-Cap magazines, they actually function better once you break them in. To do so spray some light silicone oil into the magazine, load and unload it a few times until BB's feed smoothly. This process breaks in the internal spring allowing it to function without problems each and every time.
About BOLT Bolt Airsoft excels in bringing realism to the Electric Airsoft rifle market through their patent pending Bolt Recoil Shock System (B.R.S.S. for short.) Their goal is to combine the advantages AEGs have such as performance, consistency, and reliability with the often sought after recoil impulse from a gas blowback system. This unique feature works by transferring the kinetic energy from the piston cycling to a weight system in the stock to generate the simulated recoil. Paired with high quality externals, Bolt Airsoft offers a line of excellent ready-to-play guns that also make for great starting platforms for project guns and upgrades.

" I got three of these, and they all fed well right out of the box with my E&C AEG. They look great and fit with little wobble. It loaded 120 BBs straight away without much resistance, and I'm sure it can hold more, but I can't bother to test again and count. For all three of the magazines I got, the follower sits about 1 BB's length below the BB release nub, so when you empty a magazine, the usual 2-4 BBs fall out of the hop-up unit, and 1 more sits in the magazine. Not a big deal though. Depending on your airsoft gun, these magazines may (at least initially) have some issues with dropping free from the magwell. You could determine what's getting stuck and sand it, but I didn't go that route. I just reloaded until whatever part of the magazine was causing this got ground down.
Positives:
* These look great and are built well
* They are very grippy on the bottom half to facilitate easy reloads
* BBs load into them easily without modification or breaking in
* They feed very well immediately
Annoyances:
* The follower is a bit short, so 1 more BB goes unused and sits in the magazine
* I had slight issues with dropping free initially
" ---A REAL REVIEW, NOT A "JUST GOT THIS TODAY" REVIEW---
The BMAG is what you expect from a $10 midcap. Its plastic, lighter than my other polymer magazines, but needless to say feeds all the round through up to about the last 2 or 3. Great for anyone looking to get some Magpul PMAG esque magazines without paying a $15-$20 per mag.
Pros-
Works, has worked, still works.
Design closely replicates Magpul PMAG (no window)
Cons-
Depending on your taste of tan or the color of your weapon, It may not match.
" Good mags, pretty reliable feeding. Good build quality, but not really meant for rps builds from what I’ve seen. Does not drop free from the mag well. I have a few of these but will not be buying anymore because of the mag leaving 1-2 bbs
