"I bought this mag to test out a couple of things.
First off, the compatibility of this magazine is amazing if you're using the WE system for gbb's (that does include the Action Army AAP-01, It will fit TM and Elite force/ VFC but it will not seal properly leading to a slight fps drop due to the gas route gasket not properly seating with the nozzle.
Second off, if you're trying to replace the gas route with a TM or Elite Force/ VFC type the magazine lip will not fit properly, some modding may be required but it's already a weak point on gas magazines as a whole. As of right now I can't find any 3rd party gas routes that fit WE G series mags aside from the EMG or AW gas routes (Check compatibility listings)
Thirdly, the base plate is the standard SAI style, so you have a wider grip for ease of use. It does fit the standard flared magwells but you may have seating issues if you run the larger race style one so do keep that in mind.
Fourthly, this will fit any after market feed lips. I run AIP feed lips which are made for TM spec so they fit perfectly in WE and Elite Force/ VFC. Worst case scenario is that you have to sand down a couple of areas so make it seat properly.
Finally, this is a great price for what you're paying for. It's essentially a standard WE magazine with EMG trademarks, an enhanced gas route, and a better base plate. It's $10 more than the regular magazines are but in my opinion it's great
I own a good number of G series pistols so rest assure I tested these extensively aside from the flow valves, I tend to keep mine stock or lower them to TM spec since I don't want my TM's to suffer an early repair.

"Hello Airsofters
I have found that if you set the threaded end cap within the threaded hole ( after inserting the 12 gr. co2cartrige hold the mag with the feed spring
facing you put the hex cap into the hole, put your forefinger and your middle finger over the cap with the hex hole showing and gently rock the end cap side to side you will feel it grab thread on the lower side. keeping your fingers in place insert the long end of the hex wrench into the hole in the cap and very gently start to screw the cap in you will either feel it grab the thread evenly or not .
I f it does not, do not force it but rock the end cap again until it grabs the thread. It really does not take as long as it sounds but it works.
Thanks

"this is a great mag. however it did not fit properly on my Elite Force Glock 19 as it would cause it to jam the slide back when test firing.
maybe i just had bad luck with it

"It seems I was wrong
My first review of this mag, I talked about a way to engage the thread and avoid stripping the inner thread. That worked with the first mag, but as I was removing the cap from the second one it was crunchy ,but I had no choice but to keep backing it out. Once I did it would only cross thread on while tightening and well that stripped it.No good now except for parts.
The 2nd mag unscrewed and the co2 went in and it screwed back in without any problems.
So I inserted into my WE G-34 which is just a larger G-17 ,and on the first shot the exhaust valve stuck, freezing my nozzle before I could eject the mag, thus destroying my nozzle (which broke in half) spent the next 1/2/ hour replacing the nozzle with a spare for my G-18C..
so I will not be using these in my G series pistols until I can upgrade the piston head and nozzle to a set that can handle CO2 .
That being said if your we g series pistol is stock green gas or propane. than use at your own risk.
I bought 2 of these mags and it took 2 of them to make one that worked. Not Evikes fault, but WE should put a warning on the box that if it is a gas pistol then co2 might damage the gun
Luckily it only damaged my nozzle and I had 2 spare nozzles
Thanks
Kevin Neel
P.S These are good mags for a co2 pistol. That's why I only gave them 4 stars

"Good mags so far, only a couple of drawbacks; one is the allen key needed to tighten CO2 cap is NOT included (which is why I knocked off a star) and its a smaller size than used by KWC...
I'm getting up to 85 shots per mag, which is real nice- in my stock WE G18c.
The other drawback is I had to trim some flash off the inside of the feed lips (yes, they had to be removed to do this). Its easy but shouldn't be required on a new item.
I trimmed the follower shuttle (plastic bar that rides inside follower spring) down to increase capacity to 17bb (to match capacity shown on back of mag) and it can be removed completely to allow a max of 25bb.

"This mag works great, base plate is a little funky IMO though. Other reviews have stated quickly/instantly stripping the threads where you tighten the CO2 into the magazine. I went into this knowing that was a potential problem, and let me tell you the second I tried to install a CO2 I saw why! When you first start to tighten the cap for the CO2 into the mag only ONE thread is engaging, meaning the entire load is on a tiny .5mm strip of pot metal! No wonder this strips! I'm still working on a permanent solution but what I have been doing in the interim is using a longer allen key to reach through the cap and apply downward force directly onto the C02 as I tighten the cap, this prevents the caps threads itself from being what drive the CO2 down to puncture and takes the stress away from the weak threads. This is a bit of a pain and makes CO2 changes less than drama free but it works. Once the C02 is in the magazine feeds great and has a great kick with the added pressure of CO2. On my Xcortech X3200 Mk3 I showed a 30FPS increase with .2g bb's between green gas and CO2 on my WE G19. Also, they state this is a 15 round magazine, the only thing limiting this mag to 15 rounds is a small plastic bar installed under the magazine follower, this can be VERY easily removed to return this mag to the 25 round capacity of its green gas counterpart.
All in all everything is great about this mag, if WE had increased the initial thread engagement of the cap this would be a perfect CO2 mag, unfortunately with that one flaw WE definitely missed the mark. I would still recommend these mags just keep that problem in mind.
