"I’ve owned this gun for about 8 years and it’s still an incredible piece of perfectly executed design and engineering. Easily one of my top 3 in my collection of over 40 rifles… if you have the cash, buy this.
-Its extremely fun to shoot
-The range and hop up is insane
-The fps is lower than most, but I view this as a plus for CQB, since i don't feel bad or worry about hurting the other person. They will def feel it…
-The sound and recoil are incredibly satisfying
-Mags feed perfectly and the auto cut off is really nice.
Cons:
-Price
-Some of the plastic around the stock and grip can be a little “creeky”

"I've owned my Mk16 for about 2 months now, all I have to say is wow. This is made exceptionally well, as you would expect from a TM. Yes it shoots soft, but as the other reviewer stated it does not affect range. It may just take a little bit longer to get there lol. I use .30 bbs and it easily hops that weight. The TM NGRS lines are by far the best stock aeg's on the market. You're definitely getting what you pay for; in both quality and performance! 10/10 would recommend!

"Super accurate and well made, the only downside is low fps because of Japan. But low fps doesn't mean low range.

"I would first like to start this off saying that this is a beautiful looking rifle, and is a great concept. The simulated recoil feels pretty good and the externals are impressive with a lot of attention to details. However, I feel that you do not get a real bang for your buck with how much you are paying for this. While I do understand why it has it's FPS limitations, it still does get decent range as well as accuracy. But the main reason I am leaving the rating as it is, is because of the sheer amount of issues I have had with it performance wise. The main issue I have had with this is the amount of times this gun locks up while shooting, especially after owning it and using it for a couple months now. While it is a known issue with the NGRS that it has to reset, it gets to the point where you have to wait up to 5 seconds between shots which is just laughable. On top of that you have to constantly switch it to full auto to get it to cycle correctly again. For a company that is this reputable I would think that there would be no problems like this especially in 2025. Not only this but some other complaints I have is the battery space, it's pretty bad. You can only fit certain sized batteries and while this might be a minor inconvenience it is still a bit negative. So along with buying new batteries you also have to buy all new magazines that can be semi expensive, and the magazines are also limited, while I actually like this function of some realism, it can be inconvenient to others.. So what turns into a $650 weapon initially, turns into a sub $900 dollar gun, not even including the attachments you may want to add as well. So it's not even worth the investment due to how many hoops you have to jump through just in order to begin using it. Again, this is a really great looking SCAR, but you really don't get bang for your buck especially in 2025 where there are much better options.

"I wish I could rate this higher. Looks great, shoots great, but the archaic tech they tried to apply to this is it's downfall.
I bought this, it shot beautifully. Took it to a game, even at the miniscule 280 FPS, I was able to hit people at over 200 ft away. Towards the end of the day, the gun stopped shooting and the gearbox locked up. it had tell-tale signs of a blown fuse. Popped it open, confirmed the fuse was blown, went home, replaced the fuse, gearbox still wouldn't unlock. Sent it back to Evike for a refund as a result.
Pros:
-Beautifully crafted. The full metal body is a HUGE step up from the plastic bodies TM has in the early 2000's. Felt rock solid.
-The recoil system was AMAZING. Next best the to a gbbr as far as emersion goes. Functioning bolt catch was an awesome perk too.
-shot like a laser out of the box. Even with a mere 280 fps, I was able to range targets at over 200 feet. Hop up in this gun was amazing.
Cons:
-Mags are proprietary(but not stupid expensive and feed reliability)
-tech is archaic. This is TM's Achilles heel. They've skirted increasing the fps above 300 on their guns and using old technology(such as fuses instead of a MOSFET) by making reliable workhorse ages. But this is where using old technology is their downfall. There is no reason a gun this expensive should not have a MOSFET installed, let alone be using fuse system in 2024. I only used a 7.4 35c lipo on it(purposely did not use an 11.1 for this exact reason) and it caused a catastrophic failure. I wasn't even shooting full auto at all during the game where this occured.
Gave it 2 stars instead of one because it's an awesome platform with a lot of potential, but TM needs to get with modern times.
