"Great budget buy. Received my MATRIX TACTICAL 1911 GAS BLOWBACK AIRSOFT PISTOL today and am very pleased. This airsoft pistol is at a good price point given its full metal construction and seemingly well made, study frame.
The sights are black on black and for quick acquisition are left wanting. This is easily remedied with hi-vis paint. A few dots are perfect. The slide fit and finish and action on the trigger are pretty expected at this price. Not bad by any means and this is very capable of getting on the field and holding its own. Its not a 300 dollar gun but for what it is I suggest it for the beginner looking for a gas option with sturdier frame.
It comes with the pistol, one magazine, a small package of bbs, a speedloader, the cleaning rod and instruction manual.
The configuration is typical of a TM style pistol and very familiar to anyone versed on these pistols and any 1911 style. The magazine drops free and blow back cycles well. Out of the box I adjusted the hop up a bit, but that's normal. All in all well made option for the person who wants to get inthe fight and not drop huge money out the gate.

"This is a solid budget 1911. I usually don’t go for ones with the weird “zombie killer” compensator, but it was on sale for only $70 and I figured it was worth a chance, Especially for one with a full metal build, and I gotta say it was worth it. The pistol is very well built and has some really good weight to it, but at the same time it’s compact and points well. That being said I did have issues with the included magazine. The fill valve does not seal at all and when filling it green gas shoots everywhere. This happened on the first attempt at filling the mag, but thankfully I had other compatible mags (uses the 1911 mags that hold 20+ rounds) and I was able to continue testing it. Out of the box the hop-up was set at zero and this resulted in really good accuracy with .20’s. I can image it only gets better with heavier bb’s and more hop. I don’t really care for the iron sights or the trigger, but they are good enough to get the job done. The gun also came with a speed loader, cleaning rod and a decent manual. All and all a good budget 1911. I wouldn’t pay for it at full price, but when it goes on sale I wouldn’t hesitate. Just be wary of the magazine problem.
***TLDR:
Pros:
Solid build
Good weight
Balanced and points well
Great accuracy out of the box (.20’s)
Affordable (plus it seems to be on sale often)
Cons:
Poor mag quality (leaks from fill valve)
Meh iron sights
Meh trigger
Not the best looking 1911 out there (my opinion)

"I bought this gun a few months ago, after having it for a few months, i'm here to write a review
first things first, this is a budget gun, but i have a lot of products from this manufacturer (matrix), and all of their stuff has been pretty great to be honest.
this gun is cheap and has that cool "tactical" look
it ACTUALLY is full metal (aside from the plastic grips), unlike some guns that claim to be full metal but have a polymer lower
it has a good weight, and it's pretty compact
the compensator isn't attached in the traditional sense, but instead the rail extends past the slide and the compensator screws into through the bottom.
as well, the mag well is actually screwed into the bottom of the grip, and the cool squared off trigger guard is actually just a piece of plastic that goes over the round trigger guard.
all of these things, however, aren't a problem, you're paying a cheap price for the look of a decked out gun
that being said, of all of the things i have gotten from Matrix, this isn't the best
on day 1, after receiving the package the trigger wouldn't reset very well at all, i'd have to give it a tough smack to get it to reset well.
i emailed evike, asking if i could take it apart without voiding the warranty, but they just sent an email saying my request to send it in for repair was accepted. while i was really considering sending it in, i decided i would just take it apart myself because i'm very familiar with 1911's
i bent the leaf spring, and for the most part, the problem is fixed.
this honestly may have just been my gun, things like this happen.
another much smaller problem, the safety is waaay to easy to move. barely any tension, your hand is probably gonna nudge the safety up just enough to activate the it. i simply grip my thumb over the safety.
might also just be mine.
aside from that, the gun needed to be lubed up, specifically in the blow back unit, but that's not a problem at all.
the final, smallest problem, is how easily the paint can come off of some parts. but hey, a little bit of wear on your gun never hurts.
i personally collect airsoft guns more than i play, so i only bring these out to plink every once in a while.
if i were being honest, i'm not certain that this is a great gun to use as your go to secondary if you're a serious player.
however, i got this (on sale) for $75, and spare mags are only $18. a FULL METAL gun for $75 is actually nuts.
for my purposes, i would say it's 4/5 stars

"So, as the other review stated, it is a nice full metal build. The gun performed great out of the box. Hop didn't have to be adjusted. Fps somewhere around 350. Great accuracy, with 3' groupings at 60 ft, which is great. However, now for the bad info. The kick... decent, but I like more. Gas efficiency.... not bad, but because of the lesser kick, I'd expect less consumption. Mag leaked after a few uses, and had to return. I got spare mags as well, and all leaked. After getting new spare mags, and getting the "fixed" gun and mag, all mags leaked. So decent gun for the price, but mags are TERRIBLE. The slide wobbled a touch, but other than that, great gun. I'd give the gun a 4 star. The reason for 3 was because of the mag and return problem.
