"This unit is difficult to use, the instructions are unclear, and we have yet to be able to charge any of our NiMh batteries with it using the included adapter.

Even after leaving the battery on the charger all day with the lights blinking as instructed our brand new battery has no charge. It doesn't matter what configuration of buttons we've pressed we cannot get the charger to charge any of our batteries. We've tried leaving the batteries on the charger with the lights solid. No dice.

What ever happened to good old fashioned simple wall charging units? I don't recall dealing with the problems we've dealt with recently back in the 90s when we first started playing. There is no good reason to over complicate such a simple device.
