"I have had the XFG about 6 months now and I can say I love it. The gun is very gas efficient and snappy. I have medium sized hands and the gun is extremely comfortable to hold and use. Everything is in reach of my hand whether it be left handed or right handed. For my gun the left side mag release can be a bit sticky but I have no major complaints about the gun. The only things I am not a huge fan of are the "fragileness" of the gun.

The magazines are not cheap my any means: $34 for a 19 round mag? Okay thats a little expensive for my taste but none the less I have 3...because you only have 19 rounds to shoot with. Not a problem if you use it as a secondary for outdoor but myself I use the gun both outdoor and indoor hence the extra mags.

NOW another beef I have with the magazines. THEY ARE SUPER FRAGILE. I dropped 2 of them about 3 feet to the ground and unfortunately they now leak and will not feed properly in the gun. If ICS had rebuild kits, not a problem but since they don't its a negative.

So overall the only negatives about the gun are with the magazines. the gun is fantastic otherwise.

IF you want to remove the orange tip to attach the included thread adapter just remember they are negative threads!!!! Boil some water, let the outer barrel soak for about 3-5 minutes and then carefully twist the orange tip off. Just remember "Lefty Tighty Righty Loosey"

The trigger pull feels amazing. Probably the best trigger I have ever felt. I would highly recommend this gun for anyone. Maybe not a complete beginner but for an intermediate to advanced player get it and you will not be disappointed.

Pros:
- Fits all sizes of hands
- Very Gas efficient
- fantastic looking
-With extra mags, can be a reliable and amazing primary pistol
-Snappy Recoil
-I use .28s and with an adjusted hop-up, shoots straighter than my friends EF Glock 17 for about $40-50 less that is a good deal.

Cons:
-magazines are expensive. (personally Id recommend getting the gun and 1 extra magazine.)
- handle with care magazines are fragile
-only 19 rounds per mag
-(I) would like to see a rebuild kit for the gun and magazine (not a problem for some but I plan to keep the gun for a long time to see the impact over 3-4 years of hard use.

Hope you found this helpful! enjoy!

"This pistol is fantastic. I have owned a couple other cheap co2 pistols and this one is kicks butt. Excellent gas use efficiency. I’m able to get about 2 1/2 mags worth before the gas runs out. Hop up system works flawlessly. I have been using .23bbs. They fly strait and true. Easy to disassemble for cleaning. Very sturdy build quality. I recommend to everyone looking for a great gbb pistol.

"When I ordered the ICS BLE-XFG (from here on referred to as the XFG for sake of convenience) I was struck initially by it's form factor and visuals. While I ended up getting the hairline slide for my personal XFG, the speedcuts in the slide are even striking with a simple black on black make it stand out amongst competitors. It definitely doesn't hurt that this pistol is under $130 compared to many competing designs.

Now on to actually talking about this pistol. If I had to start somewhere other than the pure visual majesty that is this particularly gorgeous BB driver, I'll start with the controls. Being a striker fired pistol, there isn't much in the way of controls on this, and that is a fantastic thing. Having been a SIG user for much of my time in airsoft, the simplicity that comes from the XFG is refreshing, though it's hardly a surprise for me as the XFG's controls and form factor match my real steal pistol of choice, the FN FNS-9. Everything on the XFG is ambidextrous, making it a wonderful experience for all shooters, and making lefties out there feel much more appreciated than many SIG offerings.

Moving on to the fit and finish, I have to say the XFG feels fantastic in the hand. The stippling on the grip feels grippy without being painful or biting to the hand, which is something of a rarity, I've found. The raised ridges that form finger groves feel fine for me, though I don't have particularly large hands. With that said, the option of swapping the back-strap is thoroughly appreciated, even if I didn't feel the need do so on mine. The slide fits flush with the polymer frame in every dimension, which adds to the form factor and visuals for sure. If I had to have any gripe about the fit of things, it would be in regard to the rail. For my personal use, I decided to mount up an APLc, which looks fantastic on the pistol for sure. However, it didn't fit as well as I would have liked on the XFG, wiggling quite a bit when mounted and making activating the light a bit touchy. With that said, it was an easy fix with a bit of thin cardboard shimming everything. If you aren't dismounting the light, it's completely negligible of an issue, but worth mentioning.

Now, I wouldn't feel right doing a review about this pistol without mentioning a few things. This pistol is roughly the same width as a glock, which is rather nice for holsters, but the height from the bottom of the trigger guard to the top of the slide is notably greater on the XFG. Minor, but worth mentioning for when you search for holsters.

Lastly, lets talk shooting. The XFG is a nail driver as far as I'm concerned. It shoots fantastically, has great recoil thanks to the lightened aluminum slide, and has no problem keeping up with my trigger finger. The trigger feels nice, though is slightly gummy. It's incredibly quick, making follow up shots feel nice and speedy. The magazines are also great because you can quickly load up and easily check the magazine from the side if you need to do a mag check. I can confirm, at least from the bit I shot since receiving my order today, the magazines and pistol have great gas efficiency.

PROS:
+Looks amazing, particularly the hairline
+Feels great in the hand
+Light. Very light.
+Gas efficient
+"Snappy" slide action
+Large trigger guard for gloved hands
+Mags drop free exceptionally well

CONS:
-Rail can be a bit touchy, might need to shim a light or laser that's attached
-Not a great fit for glock holsters, can work if you get lucky on one good hoster (definitely try USP holsters)
-Left hand slide release can be slightly "stiff", I recommend sling-shotting the slide for lefties.
-Um... It's... not a glock? (pro for me, con for others, I'm struggling for negatives here)

Final thoughts: If you want a "combat package" pistol that isn't a SAI Glock/BLU or M&P, you'll be extremely happy with the XFG by ICS.
