Golden Eagle M4 w/ MLOK Rail Airsoft GBB Rifle (Type: PDW)

"Alright just received it today.

First impressions: Swap the Polymer lower and upper for the upgraded aluminum set Evike sells. You’ll thank me later. Once you have that upgraded, the rifle itself feels incredibly rugged and robust. It has no wiggle or shake. The inside of the receiver and bolt are going to be S-O-A-K-E-D with grease. Have your paper towels or grease rag at the ready. Your first shot will send this grease flying from any crevices.

Upgrades and compatibility’s: You can pretty much use any part that is designated “M4” from manufacturers such as: KWC, WE, Tokyo Marui. As for upgrades, I recommend a new bolt, that plastic bolt head that comes with this will break at some point. A new buffer for your buffer tube, the one in there out of the box looks like something that comes out of my packaging for a TV. As well an AR assembly/disassembly tool. Trying to get this apart without one will be an absolute pain in the ***.

WARNING! This gun has VERY sharp edges. The barrel nut for the hand guard slashed my fingers up pretty good. The hand guard itself is very sharp as well, I would recommend using gloves when working on or fielding this rifle.

KEEP IN MIND! This rifles components are made of ALUMINUM, a soft metal. DO-NOT over tighten your screws. You will strip the screw holes and ruin your gun! Trying to find replacement parts for this specific rifle is not an easy job! Most are shipping from Asia!

ONE LAST MENTION! The screws to your handgaurd (if you want to take it off) are assorted on placement. Meaning, longer screws go towards the front of the barrel, while the shorter screws are in the holes facing backwards to the receiver. Do not put them in the wrong order.

OVER ALL: It’s a solid, upgradable platform. If you treat it right, it will treat you right. For $255 bucks, I was not expecting something this good.

"So far so good. Only issue I have is how hard it is to get mags for it.

"Nice gun. Good kick and nice finish. Dated gbb system parts are not the easiest to find neither r the mags. I spent the same on mags as the gun. Does not shoot at 380 fps or even close. Had to do a little custom work to the nozzle/bolt to get the fps to a usable level. I took the nozzle out disassembled it and filed the piece that holds the valve down. This moved the plastic valve further back in the gas port towards the bolt carrier. Worked great and still cycles great with good kick. This also increased consistency for some reason. Don't regret buying it. But if I had to start over I think I'd spend a little more money and buy a gun from a manufacturer that is a little more gbb oriented.
