"As soon as I ordered the 169$ Match King, I discovered the sale the have on it 😭 my hearts hurting. BUT, I’ve owned one of these bad boys in the past and honestly it’s really worth the money. The gun looks beautiful, it fires as good as it looks, the slides so smooth and so satisfying to pull back and release, the weight and grip is perfect (for my hands at least) and in all honesty, I’m so glad I’m ordering another one. I gave my old one away to my baby cousin cause well it was older and very much used and it was also his first gun. Even HE loves the damn thing and he doesn’t even shoot it lol but I’d highly recommend this to any pistol lover

"Good gun, mag it came with leaked and so did the other Aw custom mag I got, so I use a different company. By “good gun” I do mean it’s a good gun, a great one at that. Not a lot of experience with gbb anything but this is nice to me. But.... the red dot is worth less than piss. I would burn it if didn’t pollute the air. The extra mount it comes with is nice, if it was useable. But it doesn’t do the one thing an optic should do..... tell you where your aiming. It more like tells you where the center of the lens is, if that makes sense good, if not ok. But I’ve used this gun in many games and it hasn’t broken on me yet. But if your getting this one specifically for the optic. Don’t. There’s one without an optic, get that one. Unless you have another one to put on it and you just want the mounting option in the slide. Yeah that’s It thx for reading my rant _3 stay safe, play fair folks

"Great gun, but the included red dot sight is pretty bad. I could live with that, if I could mount another, better quality sight, but that isn't the case. Bought a Matrix 1x Micro Reflex Compact to replace it, but the screw holes are not compatible, and seems proprietary to AW. Hope this helps for anyone looking at this pistol.

"Amazing pistol straight out of the box. Everything is still going strong after a decent amount of use on the field as my preferred sidearm. However, I did have to take off 1 star for the RDS sight included in the package. It's cheap quality and never ended up seeing a field, although that doesn't affect the performance of the gun itself. However, I do appreciate that the pistol is RDS ready for when I buy a better sight with an integrated mount built into the slide. All in all, it's great pistol paired with a not so great sight.

- Included RDS is cheap

"Base pistol is a standard aw custom pistol with a modified slide that mounts a sight.

The included sight is not the best. Has a weird push/pull on/off switch. The mounting isn't standard but can mount some sights like a matrix rmr but I had to use the screws that came with the pistol and it didn't extended far into the frame when I tightened it.

One potential problem is that it is not 100% compatible with 2011 hardshell holsters. The modifications on the slide will make it so that it will not fully go into the holster. However the holster still works as you can shove the pistol inside, the slide will be slightly pulled back however.

"The construction and function of the pistol is fine. The red dot is low quality and the mounting point is proprietary, will not fit rmr-style mini red dots. Overall it is very ok. Would be great if the mounting point was standard.

"This pistol was a not-so-good purchase for me. Now I may have gotten a defective product, but this was my experience with the pistol, and not everything in this review may be to your situation.

When I had received this pistol, it seemed very reliable. It had no issues out of the box, and I test fired it at Evike's firing range. But some problems outweigh its usability. One issue that was very prominent was the leaf spring. The leaf spring would constantly get stuck underneath the sear. The sear is a small internal piece in the hammer assembly that locks the hammer back. Since the leaf spring kept getting stuck under it, the hammer would not reset, and I would have to disassemble the pistol grip and fix it every single shot. Then, the barrel assembly "broke" It did not affect the performance of the pistol, but it was a pain to constantly fix, so just glued the barrel piece that fell, and that fixed it. Recently, it has gotten to a level at which I cannot continue to repair and fix, so it is completely useless at this point.

Pros:
- Somewhat snappy slide
- Included a sub-mediocre red dot sight
- Magazine had 0 feeding issues, and the gun was reliable when it was usable

Cons:
- Outer barrel falling off
- It's heavy
- Pistol became a pain to constantly repair
- It's heavy
- Leaf spring was either too short or a defective product
- It's heavy

I think you get the point.

Nitpicks:
- I didn't really like the design of the slide
- Red Dot Sight was kind of finicky
- It's heavy

Overall, if you get lucky (unlike me) Then this pistol is a somewhat good choice. Other than that, there were multiple problems, and I'd look somewhere else.

"I just bought this gun about a week ago and I was impressed at first. Then I had the full auto issue. I fixed that and then today i played an outside game and the end of the barrel just flew out into the weeds. I'm not very happy with the results of this.
