Unlike most other gearbox shells on the market, the Retro Arms CZ gearbox shells are precision CNC machined out of a solid block of billet EN AW 7075 T651 aluminum giving them unmatched durability and resilience. Combined with reinforcement of key stress points and stainless steel connecting bolts, the gearbox shell has undergone extensive stress tests with M160 springs without any signs of wear.
Version 2 Retro Arms gearboxes feature a quick-change ball-bearing spring guide mechanism, allowing spring swaps in a matter of minutes without complete gearbox disassembly.

"Comparing this gearbox to all of the cheap pot metal ones I’ve used is almost unfair. Retro arms does a great job making these. The finish is amazing and the quality of the metal is amazing. I used retro arms bushings instead of bearings and I am extremely happy with the space available for wiring a gate aster mosfet. I’ve had problems in the past with cheaper gearboxes and having fitment issues with reversal latches etc. not with this gearbox. Everything fit inside perfectly with just a little bit of shimming the gears which is normal. A lot of thought was put in the design of this gearbox and it fits together so well. If money is no option this will be my go to gearbox for all of my builds from now on.
