ARES Amoeba PDW Style Collapsible Stock for M4/M16 Airsoft AEGs

"I bought this to put on my arp-9 because I wanted more positions to choose from with my stock lengths and because I already had a pistol brace stock from ARES as well, so I can now swap stock styles with ease changing the look of my arp-9 to how I desire…

I did have to modify the stock a tiny bit for a perfect fit and had to shave the part that kind sticks out on the ARES stock, for it to fit flush with the arp9 lower but it fits perfectly flush now and looks great…

Of course because it’s a “pdw style stock” the battery room was kinda limited with the mossfet and wiring used in the arp-9, but because I ended up stripping out the internals and ended up installing a Polarstar Kythera into it, I have no problems with battery storage anymore and I can now store even more Skittles into the pdw stock… (no battery to take up room in the stock=more storage for your favorite candy of choice)

"After a little over 8 months with this stock, I am pleased to say that it has lived up to its price tag.
I installed it on my ARP9 because I thought that the OEM stock looked ugly and didn't have enough space for most of the batteries I own, even after installing the Airtech extender. The stock had minor fitment issues right out the gate but it's to be expected when installing parts from competing manufacturers, after that, I had no problem at all with its performance and durability. It provides a very nice and comfortable cheek weld and it removed a lot of the bulk associated with a traditional A2 buffer tube setup. For its size, it has plenty of room for most stick-type batteries, without any strange shapes that would disrupt battery storage.
The only thing I wish the stock had is a QD sling point, however, I managed to remedy that by removing the sling loop it came with and modifying an MLOK QD mount to fit in its place. I have so far only run 6 games on this modification but it has shown no signs of wear or stress.
Overall if you want a very rudimentary PDW stock that doesn't look like an edgelord fudds masterpiece then I heavily recommend this one. However, if you're looking for another way to make your M4 more compact then I would cautiously recommend the EMG side folder, I say I cautiously recommend it because I have installed 2 of these for my friends and if your gun has an inline MOSFET then you will have a very hard time trying to make it work.
