New eSilverEdge geaarbox featuring advanced S.D.U. chipset to manage shot-to-shot amperage draw (gearbox only pulls 11amps at ~380 FPS) for improved consistency, performance, and instantaneous trigger response making this one of the most efficient stock gearboxes on the market Fully automatic / semi-automatic select fire with 450 rd high capacity magazine. 30 / 60 and other custom capacity milsim magazines available. Ambidextrous mirrored controls short throw safety selector, ambidextrous charging handle, and ambidextrous magazine catch FALKOR Transitional Free-Float 14.6 MLOK Handguard with 16 inch barrel Super Dynamic 3-Gun style trigger The Falkor Recce rifle from EMG provides the operator with a lightweight, nimble and accurate alternative to traditional heavier profile barreled rifles. The Recce is steeped in history, originally designed in-house by U.S. Navy SEAL Team armorers, and later by the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division (often referred to as NSWC-Crane or Crane), the SEAL Recon Rifle was developed to provide SEAL snipers with a portable, lightweight, accurate weapon with greater lethality than a standard M4 carbine. The SEAL Recon Rifle is sometimes referred to as the Recce. FALKOR has adopted the heavier barrel concept of the Recce and improved on the original concept by marrying it to our Transition rail, enhanced bridged action and sporterized chassis. The end result is an AR15 that is unmatched in accuracy and reliability.
The Falkor Recce from EMG starts with a metal upper and lower receiver unlike any other AEG on the market. With extensive tactical styling, this receiver is bar none. In addition to the unique styling of the Falkor, nearly every piece is ambidextrous including the magazine catch, bolt release, short throw fire selector and a Falkor Mach 15 Ambi-charging handle is also present to complete the high end look of this rifle. A Super Dynamic 3-Gun Trigger style straight trigger gives the operator a unique and fast trigger manipulation. The Flared Magwell grip features ridges on the front for operators who prefer a magwell style grip on their rifle. It should also be noted that the upper receiver sports a unique style that will set the look apart from every other M4 variant on the market. Moving onward you will find a flush top rail leading into Falkor's Transitional Free-Float 14.6 MLOK Handguard, allowing the end user to install any MLOK compatible accessories and rail segments. The furniture of the Falkor Recce is also optimized for performance, modularity and comfort. A textured, slim profile motor grip paired with the Minimalist Stock not only completes the look of the rifle, but makes it an extremely comfortable piece to shoulder and field.
Internally the Falkor Recce features a reinforced gearbox that has been precisely polished and inspected to ensure a low thermal and frictional coefficient. 8mm stainless ball bearings, a smooth trigger, high heat contact switch, a ball bearing spring guide and a high quality steel gear set make the internals of the Falkor Recce match the outstanding externals of this rifle.
We all know those who like to say that any AR-15 platform rifle is just "another M4", go ahead and try to say that to the EMG Falkor Recce and you will most definitely run into some contention.
When APS set out to develop the Silver Edge gearbox, they wanted to bring to market an ultra-smooth, low amperage draw, ultra-reliable system with huge upgrade potential. The newest iteration of the Silver Edge gearbox named eSilver Edge takes everything that made the original great and improves upon it.
The newly developed advanced S.D.U (Super Dynamic Unit) chipset monitors the amperage draw from shot to shot and will cut power to the gearbox if the current spikes too high before damage can be done to your gun.
To improve trigger performance, the eSilver Edge gearbox features a micro switch trigger which works together with the S.D.U. chipset for near instantaneous trigger response (as fast as 0.02 seconds). When combined with a short stroked trigger, users can achieve an incredible semi-auto rate of fire.
Additional to the reinforced internal parts, the gearbox shell itself has been greatly reinforced to withstand the stress of up to an M190 spring. Great thought and detail has gone into this gearbox to make it more durable, more efficient, and at the same time remain compatible with the great majority of Tokyo Marui Spec upgrade parts.

" I really, really like this gun. Straight out of the box and with an 11.1 Titan battery, it rips on semi. Range and accuracy honestly impressed me for a stock gun, too.
Pros:
-External quality is high, and it feels really solid
-Trigger response is high
-Looks great, lightweight
-Range / accuracy with 0.3s is excellent
Cons:
-The stock feels a little cheap and I'm afraid I'll lose the locking pin because it's not attached.
-The ambi mag release is super wonky and won't always lock the mag in place. Sometimes you have to push on the mag release to get it to close and hook on the mag. I've even taken it apart and greased it to see if it would help, but to no avail.
-The free-float outer barrel wobbles in the rails if you grab it and try to wobble it, but it's never been a problem.
" Great gun out of the box.
Pros: full metal(strong), long barrel, snappy trigger, bolt lock, m-lok, works with 7.4v batteries
Cons: full metal(heavy), dial hopup
" Let me first start by saying that this gun is pretty good. With all stock internals, it shoots pretty accurate and pretty far. I use an 11.1v Li-ion Titan battery. Although I haven't chronoed it, the rps isn't bad and the trigger response is good for a stock gun. The externals are absolutely great, no wobbling except for a little in the stock, the included black flash hider is awesome. From an external point of view, I don't think there are many if any guns with as good externals at this price point. My gripes with it are concerning the mag well. The magwell is so wide that most if not all magazines have a noticeable amount of wobble. I bought three KWA k120 mags for this gun. All three of them wobble to all hell, I mean forwards and backward and side to side. It's so bad that the stock cheap aps hi-cap fits better. There are also terrible feeding problems. whether it is the stock hop up or not, the feeding from the KWA mags are horrible. My first 10-20 shots are smooth but after it will shoot 1-2 bb's every 10-15 trigger pulls. Putting it on full auto helps some with feeding but still not great. With one of the mags, it won't even go in and lock in the mag well. I know the mags are good but they are just a terrible combo with this gun. All that aside, when the gun fires, it fires well, crisp, tight, and accurate.
