" Fit this into a classic army b&t mp5k. I resused the old wiring to retain the fit, except I swapped the polarities and appropriately atrached a xt30 connector for the battery. It doesnt have cutoff issues thankfully. I use a shs steel v3 one. Shoots real fast with an 11.1v.
" I put this into a cyma aks74un/ cm045a. The part of the trigger trolley that interacts with the cutoff lever does have enough material to cutoff properly. This causes the semi auto mode to shoot multiple bbs in one trigger pull. To fix this i glued a gift card where it needs to me to trip the cutoff lever and trimmed it to fit. I also cut 2-3 coils from the trigger trolley return spring. I put in an shs high torque motor and you may need a stronger spring. This mostly fixes the problem.
Pros
-fairly easy to install
-good price
-i can use my 11.1v lipo
-i got it to mostly work but it still needs to be refined
Cons
-may need modification to work in your v3 gearbox
-no instructions included, but its pretty simple to install
-i still get some overspin if i pull the trigger halfway
- you might need a new cutoff lever
-you might need a stronger spring
Overall, id just buy an active braking mosfet instead and a nicer motor. If you buy it just check how the cutoff lever interacts with the trigger trolley and fix any issues.
" Have the same problem as Emilio L. the cutoff lever doesnt catch, it will shoot multiple times in semi i did find it worked fine with my 8.4 but anything above that causes an issue, full auto is also affected by this it will shoot then the mosfet will shutoff which causes it to shoot in a burst, the product needs to be refined a little but there is potential
