"A good gun, very light, fun to use, when i have used it has had no issues, except that i purchased the wrong kind of battery, which i fixed easily by getting a new one.

"Model: M4 RIS
BB Weight: 28
Hop adjustment: 3 turns
Upgrades: none
After 15 times on the field, I'm very happy with the accuracy and reliability. Typical stock long trigger pull makes it tough going up against the binary trigger crowd but I get my share. No complaints at all.

"I got the M4A1 Carbine / Black about a year and a half ago and for $159, it runs with zero problems. I haven't owned many other AEGs, but based on how well this performs, I think many of the AEGs I purchase in the future might be Specna Arms. They are super underrated, and I love running it. It can really take a beating and I recommend it for everyone, not just beginners.

"(I bought the M4 CQB Keymod) Amazing gun, I love that it comes with a lower FPS spring and that it has a shorter barrel while maintaining range with the hop-up. BTW this gun (The gun only package) doesn't come with a battery, and it does have a polymer lower, but that is okay. All and all, an amazing gun and 100% best bang for your buck entry level gun out there!

"Great first AEG would recommend!

"I love this gun (Model: M4A1 Carbine / Black). Specna Arms knows how to make high quality stuff for lower prices. This gun has been through a lot and with the external modifications I have made, it looks like it's been through a war, and it still works as if I just got it. I recommend this not only to all beginners, but even more experienced players.

"Purchased for roughly $150. Works very well out of the box. Specs are not correct on Evike. Came with a metal hand guard and an x-asr. Wired to deans in the buffer tube with a mini tamiya adapter. Comes with one Hi-Cap, dejamming rod, stickers, ads, a terrible manual, and an m90 replacement spring. Works with 11.1 but gets warm after mag dumping. Arrived very very very dirty as well.
Shoots hot out of the box (450-500). Nothing is ambidextrous.
Shoots well though and has a higher rate of fire expected for this price range. Feels solid and well made in hands but all buttons are loose and rattle. Fake bolt release switch bangs with every shot and led me to believe something inside was seriously broken, but it was just a bad cosmetic switch (as the bolt does not lock). Mag release button is junk and dropped multiple mags just plinking targets. Took all m4 mags I had besides an arcturus tactical mid-cap but all mags had issues with falling out. Hi-cap arrived broken. extremely limited batter space in buffer tube with xasr in there. To run an 11.1 small stick you will not be able to collapse the stock fully.
All things considered for $150 this or the arcturus sport are probably your best bet on a budget. Most issues are just inconveniences and at this price point they aren't issues. It shoots well it is feature rich in usable modern features at the cost of a bit of jank. Amazing starter gun or buddy gun.

"I bought the tan m4a1 back in 2021. Three years later, this thing is running perfectly. I put an aftermarket RIS, tube sight, broomhandle grip, and flashlight on it. The QuickChange spring is great. It runs perfectly on 2s lipos. The polymer receiver feels great, almost like metal. The quality is outstanding; I haven't broken a single thing in 3 years. The only problem I have had is that it does not shoot when exposed to cold weather for a while. Replacing the O rings should fix that. 10/10 AEG.

"This is THE best M4 for beginners in 2023. I’ve seen plenty of others online recommend it as well, including Evike themselves. It has good internals and externals, and by swapping the hop-up bucking and nub, it’ll much more accurately. I cannot stress this enough- if you want an airsoft M4 without dropping upwards of $200, this is the best gun you can get. If not an M4, try the CYMA CM040, CM045 and CM048 series.

"Specna Arms SA-C06
Out of the box, a great, lightweight M4. Tough for being an all-plastic gun, runs great with a 7.4 or an 11.1, but if you spam the trigger a ton on semi-auto with an 11.1 the electronics may lock up for a second or two. The stock being plastic on a plastic buffer tube has a bit of the classic M4 wobble, but it is easily corrected with some well-placed electrical tape. Battery room is adequate, make sure you run a Deans, as the supplied adapter can make for a snarl of wiring that can make collapsing the stock challenging. The pop-up sights are great, all metal and adjustable front and rear. Remove the inner dust cover or you will have to hold the charging handle back to adjust the hopup.
I bought two as loaner and trial guns to see how they did for the sub $200 gun category and they are great intro guns. I just converted one to HPA with a Redline N7 Milsim and apart from a minor bit of grinding in the gearbox shell (wire guides by the trigger assembly) it is quick and relatively easy, and you can keep the safety!
If you're looking for a great, inexpensive M4 this is a solid choice

"I’ve been researching for a _$200 AEG for a while and finally landed on the Specna Arms Core series. I purchased the C011 and it has been great for me. I have yet to field it, but I have fired at least a 1000 bbs and it has done well. Now to the pros and cons.
Pros:
-Metal hand guard
-Metal Mock Supressor
-Pretty good rate of fire
-Mine came with an X-ASR mosfet (I’ve heard some dont, but I’m not sure)
-Can hit a human sized target pretty consistently from 130-150 feet
-Not heavy
Cons:
- High cap magazine would stop feeding after 3-5 shots and was very wobbly (easy fix with a bit of electrical tape wrapped around it)
-Loud like a nail gun (can be a pro)
-May have to purchase other mags preferably mid caps like I did
Overall, great aeg and I hope to field it soon!

"I just ordered this (still waiting) but I’m very excited to get my first airsoft gun:)

"I got the SA-C01. Great external build quality. Even though everything except the barrel is plastic, it felt like metal. I never had the chance to test fire it because I replaced literally everything inside of the gun as soon as I got it. Just be ready to clean out your hop up chamber and barrel because they put too much oil on it.

"I purchased the M4A1 tan version on sale for $89. Although I actually got the M4 SBR black version when it delivered, which I like more, it preforms very well out of the box. The trigger response and range/accuracy performance with a 9.6v NIMH is great! The externals and internals alike are very solid. The gun you get for the price is superb, you also get a lower power spring to switch with the standard one using the quick-change spring guide. Highly recommend for any air softer!
