"Gun only works with most of my mags and fires well. Very accuate and good rate of fire out of box. Hopup works well and good FPS as well

"I’ve owned this gun for about a year now and I can say it has really served me well.

Pros:
Good for the price
Decent hopup and barrel stock
Robust and won’t break if you drop it
Overall good performance right out of the box

Cons:
Motor is horrible and unresponsive when firing fast on semi
Trigger and gearbox are not good for hpa

I have one as an AEG and one HPA and for the hpa I had to dremel the inside of the gearbox to fit the IGL and also buy a new trigger for hpa as the stock doesn’t touch the mechanics

Overall great gun for the price and you can’t go wrong buying in beginner or experienced.

"I just got this gun and it was great. The semi is amazing and the full auto is even better. I play indoors so the gun being a smaller one helps a lot. I’m slowly trying to upgrade this gun and keep it as my primary. As a beginner myself this is the one to buy

"It’s a good gun and has good quality and it’s good for the price

"First impressions on my initial test were great, in it's stock form this is 1000% what I'd recommend for a beginner. Going to do hopup, inner barrel and a bucking to really see how it shines. Already threw an ASG infinity 30k in and wow it'll be a laser pointer after my planned upgrades. Construction and finish is good and the only wobble on the whole thing is the stock. I'd recommend doing a metal buffer tube seeing as it comes with a plastic one. Good purchase and if you catch it on sale definitely pick one up.

"So i bought this out on a whim being out of the airsoft game for around 12 years. The goal was to try to find something better and more upgradeable than an lancer tactical gen 2, which this hands down is a better made gun. The basic built in mosfet is enough to get away with running 11.1 lipo or li ion batteries (currently running a titan, a TIGHT fight in the handguard). This brought the ROF up from 15+/- to 18 /- with a snappier trigger response. the micro switch trigger is very responsive, especially compared to other AEG's in this price range. The quick change spring is also a plus, and makes it ideal for beginners who are just getting into internal upgrades. I've also found that upon replacing the stock motor with a lonex supreme edition a1 torque and speed motor, it is pulling an m140 spring with ease and achieving 30+ rps, absolutely insane for no other mods done to cylinder or gears. I'm not saying to get this gun and expect to blow the competition away as a stock gun, but it will more than hold its own against $300+ dollar aeg's. In the hands of a more experienced tech, this thing would be a force to be reckoned with. This is currently one of the best entry level aeg's on the market, and worth every penny in my opinion.

"I love this gun it has been my gun to build. I have ran this as my primary gun to play airsoft and have upgrading it a good bit.

My only recommendation for people who use this gun is to get another motor like an asg infinity because the motor does get pretty hot from semi, but it could have been from me going fast on it. I think this is the best gun for a player just getting started. I like to tell people to start with a gun under 200 and upgrade in the future.

"AMAZING I have never had a better gun under $200 it is amazing, this got me through a two day milsim with no issues and lasted 4 months before showing problems.
Only issues I had, outer barrel came loose due to set screws and the connectors for the battery started to stop working but that's to be expected with Tamiya otherwise amazing gun all around and great for the price. Final thing, this gun is VERY picky with mags, so far I'm aware that Krytac, PTS, and amoeba mags work. So just stick to high quality mags and you'll be ok.

"Bought the keymod 8 inch on sale last year for $128, and a titan 11.1v battery. This is an amazing gun for the price! The fire rate is great, but wish it was faster. Accuracy and range is amazing for a rifle of this length. The handguard is metal, which is nice. I run a keymod vertical grip, variable zoom 2.5-9x scope, and a modular suppressor from nov.ritsch, which actually makes this gun decently quiet. I highly recommend using a 11.1v battery, as i have tried some of my friend's batteries, such as a 9.6v and 7.4v, and it's still decent with those batteries, but a night and day difference in trigger response and fire rate. I took this to a field once and it got chronoed, and it was 397-399 fps with .20g bbs. I'm hoping to sometime upgrade the gears and motor to make it have even higher rps.

"Update Review:

Been using this constantly with a 11.1v 20c battery since December of 2021, spamming on semi, mag dumping on full auto, not a single part broken.

I have tossed this gun around pretty harshly.

I gotta say, this is a GREAT gun for the price, if you are a starter with a lower budget, and don’t wanna upgrade too much, buy this.

The only cons to this I can see are the lower upgradable parts than some other guns, but still pretty easy to find replacement parts. The other con being polymer, I prefer metal, but not much of a con.

I might just buy another one later on

"I bought this gun for my younger brother to replace a old broken down Marui MP5 we've had for years. While I was a bit hesitant to order a gun with a polymer body from what I was on a budget and took a chance. I opted for the 12" URX style. This gun performed superb out of the box! Semi auto trigger response was excellent for an out of the box gun running a tenergy 9.6volt. The gun felt well built and solid and came with a faux bolt under the dust cover, which was absent from my CYMA colt license MK18 that I paid $100 more. We pulled off the hideous orange flash hider and installed the knights licensed muzzle device tracer unit from acetech. We zeroed the gun at 20yds with a fake PEQ 15, and a Holosun HS403C on a knights armament riser mount. After a quick spray with some flat FDE paint it was ready!
This gun shot very accurately out of the box without any upgrades to the hop up or barrel with .20g BBs and again out performed my $200 MK18. With the additional weight and length added to gun it was still plenty maneuverable and nimble due to its relatively light weight polymer.

10/10 would buy again or recommend to the causal player for a CQB semi only field. This gun shot far and accurately enough I'd venture to say it would even perform well outdoors.

"BUY THIS GUN. i bought the cbr m4 8" quadrail with the g3 microswitch, and this thing is incredible. I got it on sale for memorial day but the gun usually runs you $165 usd, i payed $105 so i bought two. Once I threw a 11.1v li-ion titan battery, this thing IS a BEAST out of the box. some of the snappiest trigger responses ive experienced and honestly makes me question why i spent 400 on a Krytac when this baby matches up to it. im not talking looks this m4 looks pretty sexy but other models can rival for sure. im talking about internals compared to everything else you can buy for $165 I would say this one takes the cake being able to safely run an 11.1v it has a MOSFET and an incredible gearbox. if you were thinking about it ill make the decision. BUY IT you will not regret it and it might end up replacing your $300 aeg because of the sheer performance out of the box and upgradability. even $165 is an insane price for everything you get in this beast of a gun.

"So far, I put in two airsoft days with this gun (got the Black/Rainbow 10.5 model) and so far the gun is very solid. Good accuracy. Good range. Trigger response is pretty good, not super snappy as I would like it to be but not bad. Of course the polymer body does spare my arms from being tired hella fast because on my second airsoft day, the heat didn’t help the fact that I kept trying to hold my gun in different ways where it won’t put more weight onto my arms, which leads to my only complaint which is the lack of sling mounts. I currently have one installed but either than that, it’s a great gun.

"This is a very good AEG from what I can tell. It has a nice weight to it (especially for a polymer receiver gun), and all the features of the gun work pretty good. I haven't gotten a chance to shoot mine yet, so I would recommend people refer to other reviews for it's shooting performance. The only downside I found so far is that mine didn't come with an instruction manual. I got the M4A1 w/Crane Stock M203 Grenade Launcher package, but niether the gun or the grenade launcher came included, so I had an extremely difficult time with some of the attachments I wanted to put on. There are a lot of good reviews for this gun and similar AEG's on YouTube which go over wider topics like battery storage, gearbox replacement, and other topics, which was helpful. However, there were two things I had to figure out on my own. First off, I wanted to put a full stock on the gun. I didn't know that you needed to remove the buffer tube to do this, so it took me some time to figure that out. You have to unscrew this really inconvenient screw in the back of the buffer tube, then carefully extract the screw housing so that the battery cable can pass through and you can remove the buffer. Then you have to remove the black plastic piece that helps hold the buffer in place, and replace it with one included with the full stock. There's this giant screw that holds all this together once you get everything else on. Then there was the grenade launcher. Not only did I not know how to attach it, but there wasn't any good videos on how to that I could find. Your supposed to pull this quick release latch on the frontwards part of the launcher (the clamp that attaches the launcher to the front of the barrel), but on mine it was really really stiff, so I was terrified that I was going to break it. Eventually, I got it to work, but it took me like 20 minutes. All in all, the gun itself is good, but the lack of an instruction manual included is a problem.
